Scratch that. Good on Elie taking that three in the halfcourt.

I like the way we're defending so far. With the size disadvantage, I have a hard time seeing this hold up over the course of 48.

Should at least try bender n holmes at the same time at some point. Suns act as if there's an edict to only play small ball, even when at full strength.

Pop complains to the refs......ALOT. Dont matter if they are up by 5 or 50, he will argue calls with the ref till he is blue in the face.

Love seeing Booker take each available three. A+ Book.

but yet ppl on this board always tell me "what good does that ever do?" whe I want igor to get off his duff n apply himself that way.
Seems to be doing just fine for pop. Did well for karl, rudy t, phil jackson and Larry Brown as well. To name a select few.

Yeah Igor needs to complain more even if that means he gets a tech. The players shouldn't though. Refs were subconsciously or not are not going to respect the players flipping out at them. Coaches are a bit more removed.

He can't just start out going off like pop does, it would be out of known character. start small, n begin to assert himself more n more as time goes on.

Booker at an unworldly level here in the first. That's what it takes for us to be even.

JJ giveth with energy on defense, JJ taketh away on offense.

He almost had more points in the 1st Q than Harden had in the entire 1st half. Now that's an achievement :D ... But yeah, looks like Suns are too fast for Spurs. Just need to play a bit better defense now.

He may complain, but that doesn't mean it does any good. You can't do it on every call either.

I feel like Derrick White went to the barber shop and was like... "give me whatever haircut will look the worst on me, thanks"

Coaches need to earn respect from the refs first too though. If they come out in their first year complaining all the time, just like players, it will eventually fall on deaf ears.
