Um. NOOOOO!

we are trying to build something not dismantle it. And we would never get equal value. I can’t believe this is even a legit question.

No, not yet at least. We need to see Booker play with a competent PG and then make a decision. But he shouldn't be untouchable by any means.

As always, it would depend on the return. You're unlikely to get very good value back though. And it is hard enough to get a big name player to sign in Phx, and we have him for five years, for better or worse. And he's seemed to embrace the city and help build it. He's got a lot of work and growing up to do though.

He actually seemed a little more engaged on defense at times last game, which was a positive.

This is in response to that brightside poll that many of us were confounded by.

Want Booker to have something more considered to look at should ever the results of this poll be screenshot.

I saw the same thing and wondered if it didn't have something to do with his renewed willingness to take that pull-up 3 instead of driving to the basket every time. Conserves energy, keeps him better positioned to defend in transition, plus we want him to take a boatload of threes anyway, since he's been so great at it historically.

No. As soon as the team gets a competent point guard Booker will look like star. He can just focus on scoring and being the occasional playmaker.

Yeah, nobody on the team is untradeable. We Have 11 wins. No one here is transcendent. He just doesn't have the marquee value, especially with the 11 wins every season.

But, if we could get something of significance for him that looked like it'd make the team better long term, and that player(s), for some reason, actually wanted to be here, then yeah, why not.

No.

We have a 22 year old homegrown star who commits to being here and has played with poo poo platter most of his career and some Suns fans want to trade him.

This fan base is going off the rockers

Booker is really good, give him a better roster and he’s going to thrive.

He’s not the problem in Phoenix

He's looked like a top 10 player the last couple games - and against SAS, especially. I'm officially and permanently out of the Booker camp unless he regresses pretty hard. You just can't go out and get a superstar. We're lucky to have one.

Can everyone please stop using the pg excuse for why Booker has not looked himself this year? I mean the Suns had a revolving door of scrubs at pg last year, yet Booker has still able to put up 25, 5, and 4 on pretty good percentages.

I think more than anything, he has not been fully healthy due to the off season hand surgery, the hamstring/ back issues, and maybe some things going on in his personal life. I would really like to see him finish the season on a high note and get his 3 point % back up.

Give him the off-season to get healthy and see how him and Ayton do chemistry wise next year. If there are issues, then maybe think about trading one of them, but it is WAY too early for that.

The question is should we consider it and of course the answer is yes. If you don’t get equal or better value you turn it down. And of course we are trying to build something but there is nothing to dismantle, we have 9 wins, it’s already dismantled.

Listen, as a suns fan I desperately hope booker turns out to be the superstar we know he can be. I also know that he’s had a rough season, a lot due to injury, but fact remains that he’s 179 in real +- this year. He hurts us more than helps right now. We’re about to make a huge investment financially in a guy who, if he doesn’t make huge improvements will absolutely cause us to be a very bad to mediocre team for the next 5-6 years.

When you’re as bad as the suns have been you listen to all offers, it’s not like you have to take it but you do listen.

You're "permanently out of the Booker camp?" I get confused. I thought I read earlier you saying you were not a fan of Booker lately, and now you say are you out but then you say we are lucky to have him.

The court is the wind my flag flies in, and I've been blown away by his play of late.

He was awesome in the last game, and looked like he cared more, even defensively. The couple before that he was ok...offensive #s looked ok at the end but didn't leave much of a mark on the game or looked like he cared. Hopefully after the Spurs game where he and they all played well, along with three days, and then the Hawks, things should be looking up.

We’re trying to sell the owner, not our franchise.
