Which Ayton are we getting tonight? Charmin soft? Maybe he'll pull out the sand paper grit version and irritate someone's azz today.

He'll be afraid of getting swatted all game by gobert. Soft AF. Probably still get 17 n 11, but inconsequentially, as we'll still lose, because we're trash.

This could get ugly early. Bad shots, turnovers, defensive miscommunications, inability to get the ball to the best player.

Bender has defensive instincts way ahead of Ayton and is a better rim protector. I can't believe I'm saying that but it's pretty evident. I have not lost faith in Ayton, I just wish he'd show growth a little quicker.

Man, I would love if the Suns moved Eddie Johnson over to an assistant coach position next season. Dude just knows his stuff and constantly points out problems and gives easy solutions. I think he could really get into players ears and be listened to and respected. But, again, that leaves Drysdale for more broadcasts, so I dunno...

Bender actually has really good defensive instincts for his age. He just has not put it all together, but that's the reason Bender was drafted so high and was so highly regarded. He has elite speed for his size, and he is good closing out and understands principles well for his age.

Like on paper Bender is the type of guy we should want next to Ayton at the 4. It's just that Bender has never played up to his skillset as of yet. He's still crazy young though, so I guess you never know.

JJ playing so much better lately. He's using his brain more. You can see where he starts to make a bad play and catches himself or slows down. He's learning. That's a great sign.

Don't care that he made it, Oubre throwing up a wild shot with 12 seconds left with Rudy freaking Gobert draped all over him after driving past the initial defender is why this team sucks.
