Unpopular opinion: Each team sends their best player to the All-star game. 30 Teams, so each year there will be 30 All-stars. This makes it 1 all-star per team, and might help limit stars trying to join forces all on one team (LA, GS) and very well could help smaller market teams obtain players that they might not normally. Agents might start pushing their guys to teams that are weak, so their guy will be the all-star. Also creates a bit of a competition on teams to try to outplay the next guy. All-stars would then receive a Bonus amount of cash as even more of an incentive. This system would help clear up a bunch of the NBA's issues.
IDK, just something that popped in my head and rolled around a bit.

That's what baseball has been doing for decades.

Its a start
But also add incentives back to the All Star game
Back then teams actually cared about winning.
The last 5 years has been about just letting each player shoot and dunk with no defense or care who wins.
I say every single player in the All Star game chips in 10% of their yearly salary in a pot.
The winning team takes gets their money back and then splits the losing team's salary.... They can either keep it or donate it to a charity. Make it a post game event where each player will nominate what they do with their winning money.
This will encourage players to actually put a bit of effort in trying to stop the shoot out and try to win the game.

Diallo with incredible dunk. Jumped over Shaq without his lower body touching him and jammed it elbow deep into the hoop.

Dunk contest been kinda disappointing.....but man, that dunk over Shaq, one of the best Dunks ive seen in quite a while.
Right after they showed a close-up of Bookers excitement, as he is with his boys Russell and KAT.

(Reading lips) Book looked at Westbrook and said " It's over"! That dunk was rediculous!
