If we were rebuilding, sure. We're done with that though. Hinkie doesn't really have a rep of building a winner. Only tanking.

Don't want another guy with a punchable face to be the GM again.

Seems like a bad fit personnel wise and would be terrible for PR (aka ticket sales).

Jerry Colangelo or David Griffin.

Someone with some goddamn purple and orange blood.

Ship has sailed on both. Griff wouldn't take the job now. He will wait for a better job to open up.

What about Bryan Colangelo? Yeah there's some red flags and yeah there's some baggage, but iirc he's done a decent job where he's been and definitely has the purple and orange pedigree.

Can't see him getting a gig for a very long time...

I think Jones could do a good job, I'd just like an old head in there next to him to help him learn the ropes - someone respected and with connections.

Yeah, that would be the red flags and baggage I was referring too. :dontknow: Still, you're not going to find much more competent purple and orange available on the open market.

EDIT: I agree about Jones, I think he could do a good job, and that having a legitimate industry vet (not another Blabby) next to him would be ideal.
