Rooting for the bucks in this one. They're my other team and really want them as the 1 seed.

How dare you announce you're not rooting for the suns, drizzling $hit all over the court for nine straight years. Don't you know there are a lot of homers around here waiting to bring up stats of how good our young guys are and how we need wins to establish a winning culture? What nerve.

When I comes to who I root for when the suns and bucks play depends on who needs the win and the funny/sad thing is since adopting the suns as my other favorite team when I moved here in 2002 there have been very few times it's been both teams needing a W. One of the two has pretty much stunk every season.

I'm pretty much an expert on rooting for bad teams who hire dumb people and do weird ****.

I hope we see Ayton get assigned Giannis on defense

I imagine we will see a lot of it since Lopez stands out at 3 pt line. Might as well put Bender on him. Though Bender could likely guard Giannis as well or better (even though we might as well start giving Ayton these types of challenges).

The bucks were bad for a LONG time. But at least they have a title to their histories name. Phx has come up empty for over fifty years. Bucks have a real chance this year if gsw had an injury.

Damn coin flip. We've got a chance tonight though. They only have 35 more wins than us.

I mean, the Suns beat them once when they had no legitimate right to, so?

True, so it would be a nice sweep. Maybe Bledsoe will have a bad game if he doesn't want to be here.

That is true, salon workers play tougher than we do though.

Yeah. I think a Giannis post up on bender is a lot scarier then Lopez on Bender.

If Ayton continues to develop and stop monster wings like LeBron/Giannis, Bender could be a really good front court pairing one day since he has the length to defend centers with mobility of a forward. I hope Bender shows he is worth keeping this last stretch of the season, he’s still only 21..

He should have been getting minutes all year, inexcusable on a trash team like this too not give everyone a look.

Yeah, we just don’t know what was going on in the locker room. It might have been more beneficial to have Bender focused in the weight room and getting stronger without worrying about resting for games... doubt that’s the case though.

It's a long stretch there. Phx having a horrid front office and coaching is probably more in line with what has gone on with this team.

I think it's dumb to speculate on such things. Bender could have been really passive in practice and he kept challenging him until he became aggressive and once he did, he played, and we all saw him immediately be aggressive for the first time. I don't think gifting him minutes early would have necessarily done him any favors. It could have possibly helped Ayton be more aggressive earlier too, but you couldn't really not play the #1 pick.

I think whatever he did with Bender worked. His 3 pt shot took a few games to get it back, but he's hit them the last couple of games. It was also a bit pointless to work with him after not exercising his option, but maybe now that he has progressed and gotten time, he will re-sign if we want him. I do think he is the exact type of 4 we could use next to Ayton, especially if he can just become a better shot blocker and a little better rebounder. He has great chemistry passing to Ayton, can hit the 3, switch, defend, pass....a decent modern big...still a bit raw but I think he will continue to play in the league. I know people have said they think he will go back to europe. I'll be real surprised if someone or possibly multiple teams want to sign him. There are not a ton of 21 year old 7 footers who can hit the 3, defend, switch and move the ball fairly well.

I just meant it could have been many different reasons for Bender sitting out. Hopefully he shows he’s worth resigning during this last stretch.

Suns need to take out Giannis' knees to send a message to the league not to mess with the suns. we don't have the ability to win but we can destroy your future to make you suck as much as us. am i going to be banned for saying that?

I wasn't quite born yet when they won that title so didn't get to enjoy it. They had some pretty good teams in 80s but just couldn't get over the hump. The Ray Allen, big dog Robinson and Cassell teams were fun and they got ROBBED by the officials in the sixers Eastern conference finals. Then things took a depressing turn for a while and I got so fed up I took a break from them for a bit. But I'm back now and Giannis is something else.
