Ayton needs to take these games against Gobert/Jokic/Nurkic/etc and study them meticulously. He should be in the weight room a ton in the off season and just come back next year and bully them. Gobert is long but he can be knocked around with some muscle for sure.

35 to 52 rebounds. How much longer until we can safely say pf is our biggest hole on the team?

Probably right. We're in it in a lot of games and giving ourselves more 2nd changes would make it such more easier than just being perfect with every precious possessions

I’ve said all season, Ayton will struggle vs players his size. He’s played maybe 3-5 good games this season vs players his size this year.

Rudy Gobert and Deandre Jordan are just one of a kind players. They’re so intimidating. Suns had a lot of easy shots in the paint where they simply missed. Gobert didn’t even attempt to block a lot of the shots, but when you have in the back of your mind that Rudy Gobert is around, just forget it.

Overall, I thought the Suns played okay. The final score does not tell how the game really went. Suns were in it all game. Josh Jackson is definitely the SF out when TJ Warren comes back. I’ve given up on him... Nevermind I’ll probably come back to him.

Friday should be a good game!

2 points.............2 points the entire game.
There is no excuse.
33 minutes of play.
Holmes had 11 points in less than half the time of play.

We need to hire a coach that works with Ayton exclusively this off season and beyond.

I have not watched the game yet. What kind of shots did Ayton take ?

Also why give up on a 2nd year player, who has improved one of his weaknesses - 3PT shot, almost 40% last 10 games. Also no TO in last game.

I mean, that's a kind of game where you see how much depth you have on your team. Ayton has been straight cooked all night long and that's where your backup C should step-in. Overall, it was an average Suns performance, nothing really positive and nothing really negative. I like to see Oubre is becoming an important part of this team and I wish he would continue his career in the Valley.

Tough game, this Jazz team is a serious problem when they are healthy.

Ayton had a terrible game. Gobert made his job on defense, he was everywhere. He is the best defensive big in the league by a mile IMO.

Bridges played a solid game on defense but he was useless on offense. He needs to be better on that side, he played in this game like he was playing at the beginning of the season.

Booker was Booker again. Best player on the team and he was decent on defense in this one. Too bad that he didn't get enough help.

Bender with another invisible performance. We are used to that.

Gobert was in his mind all the time. Ayton was rushing his shot all game long, sometimes around the rim and sometimes in the mid range area.

This is where developing a 3pt shot will come in handy. The best way to play these bid bruisers is to get them out on the perimeter. If you let them camp in the paint all night it's both bad for Ayton and others who try to get to the hoop.

This when I was waiting to see the freaky athleticism Ayton supposedly has to kick it up a nonch. Speed, hops, power taking over since skills wise Ayton was supremely outmatched. Nope.

Good call! I’m sure we will see the three point shot next season. As someone else mentioned, Suns need to hire someone who’s primary job is to develop Ayton. Ayton has all the skills in the world to be one of the best big man ever. I have no idea who that person should be to mentor Ayton but it’s really important to find that person. Igor and Corliss Williamson are not those people.
