It didn't actually happen this season, but the report coming out about Sarver putting goats in McD's office seems like the most damaging thing to come out this season (assuming it wasn't widely known in NBA circles).

No "Having 2nd worst season in Sun's history AFTER getting the franchise's first number one draft pick"

or

"Third year in a row the worst record in Western conference"?

Yeah, that is worst. Our record and overall play...terrible and worse than last year.

I'm going to go with not getting PG because I feel like that really set the tone for the season. Completely subjective take but if we had a (near) starting level PG, the 17 game losing streak and the consecutive 9pt quarters probably wouldn't have happened.

I do think letting the guy who drafted with the franchise's 1st and only #1 pick and firing him a few short months after is pretty damaging even if the decision to dire him was the right one. Should've fired him a season ago

Nate Duncan ranked Booker in a tier below Danny Green and Josh Richardson in his shooting guard rankings a few months ago. I believe he also ranked Booker below Dennis Smith Jr in his rankings of prospects below the age of 24 as well.

Booker has his short comings, no doubt, but Dunc just seems to have an irrational hate for the guy.

They also ranked Ayton as the worst starting center, and called warren one of the most overpaid players.

They are going to look like idiots next season

Booker is a tier below Green and Richardson? And has less potential than Dennis Smith Jr? Ayton is the worst starting center in the NBA? Who is this Duncan moron? He has to be the worst whatever he is.

I listen to the Dunc'On as well as realGM radio and I think they just have a prejudice against basically everyone who is a Sun and everything we do. I think they are just lazy with Suns analysis and just take the general assumption that it's the Suns so Suns players are probably bad and everything we do is probably a mistake.

Sarver did not threaten to move. A reporter made this up and admitted it.

How about just a summary - 10th straight year missing the playoffs and another year circling the toilet bowl of mediocrity

I know mods hate bumping old posts, but it's just hilarious how prophetic you are here.

The dunc'ed on guys do look like idiots literally because of these very players
