It’s like remake of Threes Company in LA with Buss Rambis and Pelinka. Come a knock on my door...
I hope Frank Vogel got the 18/3 that was offered to Lue- or at least 15/3. “Clown show Bro”...going on at Staples

I’m so glad we got Monty. I would rather have Monty then swap 6 for 2.

Agreed. I liked the press conference.
I look forward to seeing the rest of his staff too. I think its going to be a strong staff.

Anybody have any news on the rest of his staff?

Personally I wouldn't play either Ayton or Bridges in summer league. They played so much regular season basketball no need to throw them out there for 5 glorified pick up games.Saberestar wrote:

I like that he comes with the orange tie. Now he just needs a purple suit.

Yeah I would agree. Melton, Okobo, Spalding, King, and second round pick should play. Hopefully first round pick and Jackson are moved. If not Jackson should play too.

No way in hell Ayton plays NBA Summer League. Bridges maybe.

Just listened, nothing ground breaking but he's definitely a good dude.Saberestar wrote:

Most interesting was Monty talking about difficulty of letting players and coaches go

I liked the part about the overuse of "we are a family". This is not a family! Dedication, share the ball, take care of each other, play defense, and you build a winning culture from that.

I get some Earl Watson vibes from the interview but I'm talking about the positives (if there were any) that Watson brought. I'm talking about the whole culture setting and building a relationship and brotherhood that extends from off the court and onto the court. The fact that he actually has a resume and has those culture setting priorities makes me feel like we could be getting the best of both Igor and Watson. Igor seemed to lack what Watson had (communication, culture setting and relationship building etc) and Watson seemed to lack what Igor had (a real basketball mind, x's and o's, high level coaching experience etc)
