2k19 rating vs 2K20 rating

Suns
Booker 88 -> 86
Ayton 84 -> 83
Oubre 79 -> 78
Bridges 75 -> 75
Saric 77 -> 77

Lakers
Lebron 96 -> 97
Kuzma 83 -> 84
Green 76 -> 77
Rondo 75 -> 76

I guess everyone on the young suns is going to have 0 development and get worse after this offseason... while big market teams like the Lakers even get improvements from their vets. Should have traded Ayton for Kuzma when we had a chance.

Kuzma really getting gassed up for a PF that can’t make 3s, can’t play defense, can’t rebound, and doesn’t exactly have a ton of upside. But we already know that Lakers and Celtics players will get this treatment, it’s nothing new.

I've never liked Kuzma from the first time I saw him in summer league. You can tell he was full of himself and thought he was the best player on the floor at the time. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, it still has kind of carried over to where I feel like he thinks he is better than he is. I did see him mention he needs to work on his 3s and get back to where he was his rookie year though (36.6%) so if he can do that he will be a pretty valuable offensive player who can spread the floor and score in multiple ways. I don't think he's a terrible rebounder or that the Lakers will have a big problem in that department.

What is TJ Warren's 2K rating?

Everyone has an opinion, but I think they are realistic.

Booker ended the season putting his best individual numbers (those 50+ games), and that is why at that moment he was 88. Then he got injured.

They have adjusted to start the season and knowing how bad Booker defends (at least for now) it is not strange that he is rated at 86.

I don’t see why Booker is going to play worse defense then last season. I actually expect a big improvement on defense with the new roster additions that will reduce Books offensive load.

Yeah, but NBA 2K can't make that assumption when in 4 years he is still near the bottom defensively, near the ratings of rookies last year like Trae, Sexton and Knox.

I mean sort this by DPIPM https://www.bball-index.com/18-pipm/ I imagine because of the outcome people may decide that metric is trash, though it's also the one that rates him the high on offense if you sort by that.

He rates a little better here on defense, but still near the bottom. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/13/sort/DRPM
and a tad higher on offense. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/ORPM

Completely agree they can’t make that assumption... I disagree with the 2k assumption that Book will get worse compared to last year. As well as Ayton/Oubre And then it becomes really annoying seeing everyone on the Lakers getting a bump even when the players are well past their prime...

Saric had an 80 last year. Rubio's unchanged from last year. Oubre was a 77 last year, now 78.

Whatever. The most important thing is Ayton. If his play justifies a jump from 82 to, say, 86, we will really surprise people this season.

I think your looking at the season beginning instead of season ending grade

This proves my belief that they have to artificially change the ratings to fit their narrative on the teams.

Booker is at least 88 especially if DLo is 87. Smh. I’ve been saying this for a while now. Booker should be competing for scoring champion this year.

I think that experiment with Point Book will pay off for him in the long run. His handle has obviously gotten better from it, even if he struggled at times playing point. it's a good skill to have next season with an actual PG on the floor with him now. His handles look nasty in this little video.

13. Phoenix Suns
Average wins: 38.0
Playoffs: 22%

Having won only 19 games last season, the Suns are forecast for the biggest improvement in the league this season. Squint hard and Phoenix had the makings of a competitive team last season, outscoring opponents by 0.5 points per 100 possessions in the 180 minutes Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, and Kelly Oubre Jr. played together, according to NBA Advanced Stats. Add reliable veterans Ricky Rubio and Dario Saric to that group and the Suns could leap out of the West cellar.

It's hard to believe they would have the 13th place team have 38 wins? What is the order and record of the west teams?

You referring to book saying ‘haven’t been to the playoffs yet bro’ ?

It’s eating him up. He surely heard and is tired of the empty stat label.

Love it. Let's hope he remains healthy, because I think he's going to have a monster year.

Bookers looking good. I agree he is going to have a monster year if he remains injury free. Hes going to make the doubters and nay-sayers eat crow.

What a whiny baby Booker is when he gets guarded...maybe the Suns aren't paying him enough to really work on his game.
