Greetings Suns fans! With less than a month to go before the regular season kicks off, I wanted to see how many active posters we got in here. More importantly this is your chance to make a post with a time-stamp attached and show that you were a die-hard Suns fan from the very beginning before they win that championship this season! Yeah, let all the haters and media bash the Suns all they want, they'll be singing a different tune by the end of the season.

Please let us know you are here, and if you want, what state/country you reside in, and what you hope the Suns are going to accomplish this season. Also, if you are a player-fan (like uh... Aron Baynes, Frank Kaminsky, Ricky Rubio) what do you think of the Suns roster and organization from an outsiders perspective?

Gonna be 26 in 30th Sept so I chose 26-30 :D

I am not posting as often as I used to but I am still checking here and reading your comments.

I am residing in Dublin/Ireland for 2 years now but I will be back home (Istanbul/Turkey) next month.

I am really excited to see our improved roster and I am hopeful for 30+ wins.
My W-L expectations are:

Minimum: 25
Most Likely: 33
Maximum: 40

25-year-old living just north of LA, but my girlfriend is going to medical school in Phoenix so I will be making about 10 games this year.

I think I am most excited to see a competent team this year. I expect a lot of individual growth from the young guys, but will not be surprised if none of them necessarily take a huge leap.

I'd love to see a collective team understanding while playing defense, good team chemistry, and effort/passion every game. I'm most afraid of a repeat of last year where the new vets don't help much, the young guys act like Fortnite is more important than their jobs, and management gets impatient and fires the coach again.

I think 30+ wins is attainable, and I'd really love to see Bridges get some national recognition for his defense and for Ayton to show improvement in his awareness, motor, and willingness to be the most active guy on the court.

I am a long term lurker that just began to actively post last season. 37 years old.

I don't mind the hating on the Suns, and people under-ranking this team and players. It comes naturally with being a 19 win team, and it happens throughout all sports. So that doesn't faze me.

I am not sure if I will actively participate on this forum, for this upcoming season. There was too much negativity from core posters, guys who I expect to be level-headed. Some of these posters are unfortunately moderators. I don't think I can handle another Luka's lovefest or people bashing Ayton and Booker for irrational reasons. However, we'll have to see. Maybe winning cures all and we dont have a repeat of what happened last year.

My heart says 45 wins, but I will be okay with 35 wins.

Im a 30yo Arizona native currently living in the Bay Area (the Warriors are too much). Lurker for a long time, posting more this year. Suns fan since around 2007, big fan of Dragic and the 2010 and 2014 teams. Not too optimistic about this coming year, feel we will have a decent team but with a very low ceiling. Loved last year's draft, had Ayton, Donic, and Bridges as 1-2-3, so two out of three was awesome, but hated this year's (was all in on Clarke).

38 and from NY.

Looking forward to this season as I expect some significant improvement. I would be ok with a 35 win season and call that a success. It would show that the team is trending upwards and beat out most of the forecasts. I would love to be in the playoff hunt though and have a .500 season. It's been awhile.

36, disgruntled Suns fan living in NZ after a few years living/travelling overseas.

I came for the keg.

I just want to see improvement - whether that means we're a tough out but only win 25, or we click like Hornacek's first team and we sniff 40 wins. Downside is another bad start and we deal Baynes and Rubio away, which would be a massive fail. I hope they buy into Monty cos he seems to have a lot of respect around the league from some power players.

I still don't get why we signed Kaminsky when we could have given that same contract to Noah Vonleh for example. Very puzzling.

31 year old from Sydney, Australia. My hope is that we're moving in the right direction and for me the right direction is around a 10 win improvement.

This roster might be the most balanced we've had since the McD rebuilding era with decent depth at all positions and we supposedly have a good coach (still dunno why he is but that's the consensus around the league) so we should have the makings of at least a competitive team.

For the sake of this franchise and this fan base, I don't think we can take another major misstep or be moving in any direction other than forward because we've mortgaged much of our future to right the ship and if we're still not moving forward, I dunno what else is left.

Hey all...appreciate your posts way more than I've probably ever let on. I'll be 50 in mid-October and am a lifelong (except for a few extended vacations) Phoenix resident. I have lived and died with this team. I expect the Suns to improve a great deal this year and get back on the road to respect. Maybe not completely get there in 19/20, but be way better than they have been for a long time. Deandre Ayton, barring injury, is going to kill it this year.

I heard there was a buffet.

I lurked here long before I signed up. I'm ancient. I was lucky to have a good friend whose dad was a wealthy local realtor with court side seats in the early/mid 70's and I got to see some great players close up. In 1974, when the Sixers came to town, seeing their warm-ups was worth the price of admission. My only bit of Suns memorabilia from that era is a Gary Melchionni autograph.

I never thought the Suns would make me feel like the Cardinals USED to make me feel which is annually hoping and praying they improved after years and years of failure. I can't wait for this year. We will shock some people. Ayton will be a different player. He will have some serious shooters to throw the ball to when he gets doubled.

46 in New Mexico. Grew up in the valley. Miss the good ole days of basketball. Loved the years of KJ, Majerle, Chambers etc. Basketball just seemed more fun then.

Hoping to just see improvement this year. More cohesiveness and team oriented ball. Maybe some defense here and there for a change.

I figured we had a lot of long time Suns fans and that the average age was likely older than most of the younger posters might have expected. I'm certainly on the older side, but also knew there are a number of posters who were able to watch the Suns before I was a fan. When a GB poll was done, even though it probably skewed slightly younger overall than here, many users were shocked at the average age.

But I really enjoy all the opinions from long time Suns fans as well as the ones who came on more recently. So many different perspectives.

I'm 27 and like NTB i'm also from Turkey two of us might be the most hardcore Suns fans in Turkey lol though last summer i met a dude with a Suns tattoo in İstanbul, it was really weird.

I have big expectations from this year's roster (like every year) but i feel like we have a good core and finally we don't have to depend on rookies for improvement. If they show promise it will be a good surprise tho.
