Its preseason. He will avg 20/10
Easily this year with high %

Ayton has the talent to average 20 & 10 in his sleep. The question is will he ever awaken his full potential. You put Amare's drive & heart in Ayton, he'd probably put up 28 & 13, and be our go to scorer at the end of games.

Yeah, Ayton's always played like this. I don't know if you can develop that type of edge and intensity. Amare was that was from day 1. Ayton will just be a super talented offensive force, great rebounder, and hopefully he continues to improve on D. Hopefully he gets to the line more but if he's shooting near 80% like tonight and people don't foul him, that's their fault.

If Ayton was a great rebounder, he’d snare 14-15 a night. He’s a rebounder by default

We did.. Saric would have really helped with Grant... and maybe TJ could have helped stop that big cold streak in the 3rd

What’s a little concerning is that in all of ayton’s preseason minutes he didn’t get to the Free Throw line at all :|

0 FT attempts is no bueno

Ayton's not physical enough to be a great rebounder. There's the occasional game where something lights a fire under his ass and he goes for 5+ offensive boards and dominates the glass, but it's not every night. His bad rotations get him out of position, and he rarely boxes anyone out. He has the gifts of height, length, and athleticism though.

I think it’s more then a mental/attitude Problem... maybe playing safe for the preseason... better not be trying to avoid injury before that next contract..

Just looking at the box scores for pre season games, what's up with Kaminsky, do I need to pick him up for my fantasy team?

Denver definitely lit us up, but I mean in general. Ayton’s just not a banger. He sets wimpy screens, he rarely hits someone to box out when he’s rebounding, and his offense is mostly quick jumpers and hook shots right now. Maybe he’ll pick up the physicality as he matures and battles Baynes all year, but he’s not there now.

I still think Ayton is going to be a really good player, but physicality is a major thing holding him back from being someone like Embiid.

I won’t hold these preseason games against him.... last year had some pretty rough patches... needs to pick it up this season.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Booker has not looked good on offense at all. He looks better defensively, however.

.... But Oubre? Oubre's been straight trash.

He hasn't improved one bit

He's physical enough. He just doesn't want it enough

Or even KAT who's a more perimeter oriented big than Embiid. The way I see the guy fly in for a put back dunk is what I want to see from Ayton. Even if Ayton doesn't make the put-back dunk, I just want him to run in like he's just going to out-jump everyone to grab the rebound.

Yet Ayton avg 16/10 and will avg 20/10 this year , yet he sucks to suns fans hahahahaha yall are nuts

Nobody said Ayton sucks but how about getting better?

Wiggins averaged something like 20/4 for his career and he sucks. Sometimes it's not about raw averages. It's about impact.

Main knock on Wiggins is efficiency on O, the opposite of Ayton. So you are left with the D argument and we all hope he improves there.

The bias of some posters on this board(not necessarily you) towards specific players and constantly bashing others is so obvious.
