I'll kick it off. I'm giving Booker the +3 for turning it on not just offensively, but defensively. Ayton gets the +2 for being engaged on both ends of the floor (despite some lapses). I'll give the +1 to Rubio. Even though the shooting numbers were down and the turnovers were a little high, I think a lot of the teams' mentality is radiating from him.

Honorable mentions to Oubre, Tyler, Carter, and Bridges.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Honestly, I started this because I thought it would be interesting to look back years later to see who were our most important players each year, as voted by the fans.

But batsmasher quit, and while I kind of took over most (or at least much of it), my hands are getting really full with mod duties across the forum, starting all the game threads here while also trying to hold a professional job and have a personal life.

I think it's a good idea, and I don't mind doing a lot of running it.

The participation was always very low as well. I think we only had 4-5 people sometimes and maybe 10 at the most.

I PM'd

I don't mind starting it, and even manually collecting votes in a google doc or something. This stuff and all the competitions takes quite a bit of work....not a ton, but when you do a lot of them it adds up.

I was very happy to see Mathias step up and take over dynasty.

Any volunteeers for help in areas such as running Nashthy's or game threads would be welcomed. We could even share a google doc and take turns updating votes, etc.

I'm not sure too many people are interested in Nashthy's and stuff though....but maybe they will be moreso if our team is a lot better.

Please don't start this garbage. After a few losses it turns into a negative circlejerk looking for a scapegoat.

We certainly don't have to. I was just curious. What you are talking about is part of the reason I never gave out cactus votes. I preferred to focus on the positives.

I completely understand the time commitment involved with tracking it all as well so there's no need. Again, just curious. Thanks for the reply BW.

We could always eliminate the Cactus votes altogether too. If people didn't think particular people played well in losses, you just don't hand out Nashty votes to them.

I wasn't originally intending on having the Cactus anyway, that was a suggestion that a lot of people wanted (probably because we were bad).

It was originally inspired by this forum, and they just give out votes for top 3 players.....and if you look at the spoiler, they have results from like 13 years befor this year.
