Dificult b2b games, if we win at least 1 of the 2 it will be great.
Ayton will be back tomorrow so at least that will be amazing.
We dont know yet if Devin will play tonight.

I wouldn't mind if Booker sat out one more game and came back healthier with Ayton for the Clipps game. What do you guys think?

That would be a bad strategy IMO. I would prefer to play him tonight and rest him against the Clippers.

The Clippers would play at home and with Leonard AND Paul George. I mean... they are the best team in the league. Depth and stars. Long shot that we win. LONG SHOT.

And I think that Ayton is gonna be a bit rusty in his first game back. He is gonna need a couple games to be in basketball condition. It is preseason again for him.

True, but all depends what kind of Booker we get, if it's the Memphis injured one, no thank you.
If he can contribute, as saber said, the "easier" one is tonight.

I predict two wins after that spurs disaster.

This game has PK no team is the favorite nor the underdog. How often do you see that?

I see it pretty often, or at least used to. It's just a pick-em. Not that much different than a 1 point spread, other than you can't tie or push.

Hopefully Booker plays. If he doesn't there's a real chance we're on a 4-game losing streak going into the OKC game

Wow

Does that mean he'll be active for this game? Not expecting any minutes but does it mean he'll at least be on he bench and "available?"

I'm fine being careful with Booker. The thing I am most frustrated with is why the hell we are not starting our backup C? I know Monty is saying "He needs to get integrated with the second unit" and sure, but do we want to win? What unit is Frank in? Doesn't Baynes make it easier for guys in the starting unit to get better shots with his screens?

I would probably start Rubio/Bridges/Cam/Saric/Baynes, and then second unit Jerome/Okobo/Oubre/Kaminsky/Diallo....or you could throw Tyler Johnson in there or Carter. Oubre would be your #1 option in the second unit but you would kind of have floor spreaders, good passers outside of Oubre and Diallo and that wouldn't be bad. But the first unit would be well balance as well, with 3 solid defenders, an elite shooter along with a few others who can hit 3s and a guy to set them up.

The biggest question for me is whether we really *need* to integrate Baynes into the second unit. Like is it really that big of a change that we need to actively take him out of the starting line up ?

Doesn't matter how many times you say it, they're not going to do it, remember?
