Why for some odd reason do I still believe a winning streak is on its way?

Because every time people have their mind set on this team, they surprise you. I was looking back a few games ago and had forgotten we just beat the Kings, Blazers and Knicks before losing our last two....I had remembered almost coming back against the Lakers....guess I remembered the Knicks too but the other two were already distant memory.

Probably because same way I believed we'd go on a winning streak over a week ago along with other fans. We know deep down it's likely to happen but still feel like we are due for a nice streak. No matter how bad we are we feel like our misery is coming to an end which it doesn't.

Yeah, maybe shake up the lineup a bit see what fits where. At this point it couldn't hurt, right?

Magic missing Isaac, Gordon... but Vucevic might do what JV did and go off.... he's going to be shooting 3s so wouldnt mind Saric starting next to Ayton.

Play some defense (and sit Booker's self-entitled ass down if he doesn't play D or move his feet sideways when his player drives) plus move the ball around the key to keep their defense moving and changing, and a Suns win will be inevitable.

Easier said than done, though.

Ayton and Baynes will never start again together. Three games have been enough.

I hope that Bridges starts at PF. Like you said it could not hurt, we are really bad already, so we need to try other lineups.

I am concerned about Ayton. It is true that he easily puts good numbers, but his overall game is "empty". Not intangibles at all, not winning plays.

After his rookie season I said that he could go both ways yet...he can be the next Towns/Aldridge or he can be the next Okafor/Kanter.

I do not know how good (or bad) he is gonna be in a few years...he is a mystery. I would not be surprised if he does not improve.

We will see.

I'll play Cassandra and admit I am expecting a loss today.

BW, I love your GL charm choice for this game, you can't go wrong with that fine lady :)

Honestly think we should just suck it up and start Saric. I really don't think we have much of a choice but to play him 28-32 minutes. The spacing with Ayton and Baynes is just horrendous.

This. And I’m not a Saric fan by any means but that’s still our best option.

Bridges can’t handle playing the 4 for such long period of time by starting. He’ll get thrown around like a rag doll in the paint because he still isn’t strong even though he has great length and wingspan.

Just go back to Saric and stay with him until James Jones gets off his ass and finds something better through a trade.

You deserve at least 6 months in prison for that. To think about what you just did.......

Yeah, it's hard to remember that we were injured near terminally just a couple weeks ago. It's hard to put **** together on the fly. Even Ayton n Baynes have had their good runs, but how could you expect it to play well so quickly? We've been bad with a lot of lineups, that we ran out there for 8-10 games at a time, that never got better. I think as soon as everybody gets to their spots on offense, and communicates well on defense, and gets some **** confidence back, most importantly, we'll start to turn things around. For now I'd they should play lineups depending on need, they NEED a couple of wins to gather some confidence.

The one thing that will definitely happen in this game is that Baynes will get posterized by Gordon.

I would start Rubio, Booker, Bridges, Oubre, and Ayton. Then stagger Rubio and Booker and we can always bring in Cam, Saric, and Baynes. I would like to see Carter work on Agustine, but he might be out as listed as doubtful. With strong hustle and good shooting, our team can beat anyone. We need to start stronger defenders though.

Gordon is questionable and Issac is out, so I see them starting Birch and someone smaller. It would be a good time to go smaller and see if some early hustle on D produces results.

Lol we’re basically back to last season’s status when teams load manage their players vs us because they think they can win without them. Been right so far.
