I agree but because the Lakers are the Lakers, LeBron went there. He could have also gone to the Clips, who had a better supporting cast last season.
I just think it'd give all teams a more fair shot. Imagine a team like the Hornets taking a chance and going for him. They'd have 2 seasons to build a team around him and convince him to stay. But teams are scared, so they stay away, making the league predictable and less exciting.
This would give all 29 teams a shot, and reason, to go after big names instead of the usual suspects.

LeBron is kind of weird. I kind of like him, but don't really respect that he chose Jordan's # (I'd rather he establish his own #...identity), and then joined stars....and I think he wanted to go to the Lakers kind of for the history of playing for them. But I, like you, prefer guys who will play for the small market teams, and if drafted by them, stick with them, or, better yet, if they are superstars, sign with them. I can't remember superstars signing with a small market team at this point in FA. I guess LeBron going back to Cleveland, but that's understandable. And maybe some small market teams that were already contenders, like when Michael Finley or LaMarcus Aldridge signed with the Spurs, though they was far from a superstars.

I guess Nash signing with us comes close, but he was far from a superstar when he signed with us as well.

Don't forget Tmac and Grant Hill to Orlando. Looking back, how the hell did they swing that!?

Oh yeah, that's probably the best one and they nearly got Duncan. I actually created a thread on the GB in the last couple of months that said "How good would have Orlando been if they would have gotten Duncan and Grant Hill stayed healthy?" I mean, they would have destroyed the league. I think many people forget how good Grant Hill was before he got injured. People were anointing him as the next Jordan.

Lol. LA fans screaming "refs you suck" while they actually review something for them. If the Suns tried to get that to count they wouldn't even review it. They haven't reviewed last second calls for the Suns. **** the Lakers.

The Lakers haven't really gotten a lot more calls that could have gone either way than us. I expected it, but it's pretty even on fouls.

I hate making excuses but it's been impossible to have any rhythm this season with the suspension and injuries. Rubio has still been very good but he's not elite. He's a very good floor general. He'll never been what Nash was, simply because he can't shoot

The big issue tonight has been rebounding. It doesn't matter what size you are, if you box out, you are either getting the board, or the opposing player with commit an over the back foul

Teams 'emptying their benches'. Meanwhile, the Suns bench emptied as soon the starters took their first rest
