I was just thinking....

Otakus, Himikomoris, anti-social Internet weebs....
... they have the optimal survival probabilities.

So I will bury all of you.

What else can we do or discuss while we wait? There's only so much draft discussion we can have.

I can argue Tormund GiantBaynes as starter over Ayton and Ricky Rubio worthy to be a contender starter PG 'til next Big Bang,

It depends. If a lot of people have been tested and a lot of players have it, it would make sense, but with one, you quarantine him and continue on. I agree with having no fans because it will spread then. But even with the players that get this, they will get over it within a couple of weeks likely at the most.

The virus is WAY more widespread than people think, but if it is only a handful of players with it they should play on without fans with of course those players that have it isolated. They are just as likely to get it elsewhere unless they just stay home all day.

The next move I imagine is they are going to test every player, couch, FO, staff, and ball boy for the virus. If all goes well they will be back in a month

Posted this on the GB: maybe it is important to read it here again.

The information about the spread rate/re infections status and herd immunity concerning Corona is not evaluated yet.
As far as I know we don't know how we can contain the virus from spreading in an exponential growth beside taking drastic measures (just like Italy tries)like limiting travels (what the NBA does regularly), stopping all social activities.
it is not only about the players. the media, the stuff, everyone around could be spreading the disease.

so its not a simple task of test person xy and you are good. you just don't know enough about the virus yet to stop the outbreak and limit deaths and the effect on the whole health care system.

I feel like there's a lot of overreaction happening. It's good to be thorough and careful, though. It's a goddamn shame that Donald **** Trump is the president when this is happening though. Good thing he basically cut most of the funding to the CDC months before this. I couldn't think of a more inept cabinet to handle something like this.

I think all teams should test everyone involved with who would be around the team and games, and then isolate whoever has it, then travel in their private jets, get in their private buses or whatever from the jets, and go straight inside the arenas and play. Without crowds. You obviously can't have fans because there will be people that have it, but once it is contained among players, they have their own sources of travel where they don't have to come into contact with anyone.

I guess the only thing I didn't think about was hotels, so that is the big problem...they'd have to sleep on the transportation vehicle probably.

The thing is, I bet with it canceled, there will still be as many players who pick it up (unless they all stay isolated) then if they traveled with precautions. Because I'm sure anywhere they go, they have people all over them.
