Those pesky thunder are about to experience what it's like to face lightning on the basketball court: the playoff bound Phoenix Suns. Grab your note pad Chris Paul, school's in session and professor Jevon has got a whole lot of teaching material.

CP3 and SGA both played 30+ minutes today. Hopefully they rest them.

They absolutely should. Don't want CP3 getting injured right before playoffs right? Gallinari also should rest because he's injury prone. Their coach should consider staying in the hotel too. No reason to risk potentially exposing yourself to Corona virus.

Unfortunately I'll be sleeping during this early game. Hopefully I wake up to some good news. If not, well... it was a good run.

Is at 20:30 here, perfect time. CP3 is the most hated player for me and is always difficult to defeat him. Let's hope we win this one, I'll be double happy.

Wow there are no excuses to lose this game.

No adams and no Noel..Ayton better have a big game but he has disappointed in games he should theoretically dominate.

Trap game. Let's hope our starters take advantage and kill it.

Off topic, But does anyone else see the similarities of the Shai picture looking like a really young Jimmy Butler? Maybe it's just me....lol. :tooth Also back on topic, Ayton definitely better be dominant Ayton for us to win this game. We need to trap Paul with Bridges and Carter often! Also employ a full court press often, to wear him down faster! Age is a factor after all right? IF we come out aggressive and with consistent effort, We should take this game! Limit the threes for Oklahoma city too!

Man, you guys caught a hell of a break with OKC resting their whole team. Feels like a team of destiny at this point.

https://oklahoman.com/article/5668776/okc-thunder-five-players-listed-as-out-for-suns-game

All these dudes are out:

Shai
Gallinari
Shroder
Adams
Noel

I don't know OKC's roster well enough to know who they're going to roll out but I'm guessing it will look something like this?:

Paul
Dort
Ferguson
Bazley
Muscala

As Qwigglez mentions this is a classic trap game scenario (especially since Paul is still playing) but the basketball gods are smiling on the Suns right now. If they come out and play hard and don't screw around there is a high chance of a W.

Man it's so exciting to be watching BOTH relevant Suns ball AND excellent Suns play at the same time. I am trying to just enjoy the ride and not get my hopes up too much, but I couldn't resist spending about an hour last night going through standings scenarios.... I think it's going to break my heart if we don't make it to the play-in despite my best efforts to keep my expectations grounded. Let's go SUNS!!!

Glad I can go to sleep easy and not have this game looming in my sub conscious. Though if I wake up and find out we lost I’m gonna be pissed.

Thing here is, there's no way the Griz won't get a similar favor or 2 from Boston and/or Milwaukee.
Not to mention, we still have to win 3 games. Regardless if teams are healthy or not.
The game against Dallas has me most worried I think. If we are 7-0 at that point and in a 'win and you're in' scenario, I am really excited to see how Booker and co. play knowing it truly is a win-or-go-home game.

Of course they will do it, but Celtics and Bucks are deeper teams so they will put a solid starting five on the floor for sure.

And the Grizzlies are worse than us after the trade deadline. Crowder was a big part of their success and they are now without Winslow and JJJ.

I like our chances.

There are no games today for Memphis and Portland. A win today will put some more pressure on them at least
