They haven't been able to practice this past week if they are under covid protocol. The last thing you want if you are worried about a positive test among your players is for them to be around each other.

I seriously doubt the team practiced together either...if they did last night at 9pm as Flex says that seems odd, because it would have been 5 days and you'd think they want about 7 to make sure none are positive. If you have contracted COVID, you would typically show a positive test after about 5 days, but given they had two more days until the game, and will need negative tests Monday, I am not sure why they'd risk a practice.

If one guy is positive, that puts our whole team on protocol for another week.

Them still saying today "they are hopeful it's a go" is a very odd thing to say if they are together practicing.

Even if they weren't able to do in-person group activities, there's a lot of things that can still be done remotely in small-to-large groups like watching film and going over the playbook. Granted, it's not the same as doing the full-court team activities, but it's better than nothing.

The main good thing to come out of this is that hopefully Cam Payne has been able to get healthy which will help us a lot whenever we play those postponed games.

Jalen Smith as well. I think he’s a better matchup against bigger Cs than Saric who’s been getting abused a lot lately.

Probably will struggle some at first but I think he’ll figure it out soon enough and can be at least a rotation player for us this season.

These are the games where I hope adding leadership pays off.

Able to pick up all the good things from our early season form plus an evolved starting offense strategy.

If we don't we could be down big again.

Oh ****, I can not believe it.

Well, it seems that we will not play tomorrow, but Saric, Jones and Jalen Smith would be out because of health/covid/whatever.

Soooo...probably another full week out. Hopefully not. We will heard about it soon.
