****, y'all. Donald Prump gone Wednesday morning, a Suns win Wednesday night, and a PS5 secured Thursday afternoon that I've been trying to get for 3 months now. Life isn't always terrible!

Go Suns.

"The NBA has postponed the next three games for the Memphis Grizzlies.

The games are scheduled for Friday, January 22nd and Sunday, January 24th at Portland, as well as a game on Monday, January 25th against the Kings.

The Grizzlies will not have a minimum of eight players due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing."

Cool. So glad they made the Suns play them on Monday. Covid be damned.

I hope Smith gets some minutes. He’s gonna make some rookie mistakes for sure but longterm I like him as our backup 5 way more than Saric. I think we should start giving him some mins while Saric is out.

I’m not sure if Smith was able to work out the last several weeks while he was out but I hope he was able to add some strength.

I swear it feels like he's missed the entire season so far but I'm glad he's going to be available and hopefully Monty gives him some burn out there

Monty looks down the bench.... he sees Jalen and Shank.... what do you do ? Isn’t that hard of a decision.

That is a trick question, right? The correct answer should be Ty-Shon Alexander.

While I agree with most of this sentiment, it's hard to argue with how Kaminsky has been playing as a backup big. He's not GOOD by any means, but he certainly doesn't look terrible either and looks like he's found a decent role for himself. Smart move by JJ to pick him up on the cheap.

After Jevon Carter's straight zero statline in 8 minutes, are we ready to maybe try E'Twuan Moore?

No politics. Playful or not

I love Carter, but if I had to I'd go:

Payne
Galloway
Nader
Crowder
Saric

Before Moore.

Moore started on like 9 playoff games 2 years ago. He is not that old, can't be done yet. Why do we see him less than we saw Jalen Rose under D'Antoni, while Carter clearly struggles and Galloway is either on or off?

Moore played a lot of minutes in the preseason and he looked pretty bad. It seems that he lost an step physically.

Another thing is that he is an all-around SG who is not a master at anything and Monty prefers players that excell on something...Carter is a great perimeter defender and Galloway a terrific 3p shooter.

Even though he is not playing Moore was a nice addition because he adds depth and he will play if needed because of injuries, foul trouble and stuff like that.

Galloway is the one that needs more minutes. He has the quickest shooting form in the entire NBA and can make a huge difference in the matter of mins on some nights.

I’d like to see them try taking Ayton and Cam out early and put him with the bench mob. A lineup of Payton/Galloway/Cam/Crowder/Ayton would be very effective for a good bench spurt imo.

I'm expecting Jamal Murray to score 35+ points tonight.
