He's an excellent defender and on top of that can easily put up 20/10 on any given night. Ayton is more valuable to our team than Booker, no offense. When a player can play both sides of the floor it makes him un-tradable in my book (no pun intended). Booker is amazing and hits unreal shots but if the owner decided to keep one of two of our future stars, well 7 outta 10 Ayton gets the nod.

Ayton needs a full season of this before we can even have this convo

Yeah, that makes perfect sense still need to see more out of him. Just to be clear I don't want Booker traded I did last season but than changed my mind. It was just hypothetically speaking and that's all.

We moved up a spot in pace after this game. Been keeping track lately, we have been 27th and now are tied for 26th spot at 97.3. Maybe by end of year we can reduce the number to 18th-20th in the league.

He still can clean up some things off ball and with help D, but he's vastly improved in that area...it's good we have vets like Paul and Crowder there and Bridges as a premier defender too. It's not getting lost like Book does, but it's solid.

I didn't notice and was surprised to see that Monty said Ayton set an "unreal screen"

we had 12 FTS and Dallas had 25 and we still won...Amazing.

If the refs didnt dick us around every game we would have a much better record.

Lost 10 bucks, but the two wins vs Mavs are well worth it. I'll bet on them every game vs us from now on. Let them continue to suffer when they play the Suns. :-D

On a serious note, betting on the opponent makes you so much more confident your team wins.

I see what you mean and kind of agree. But closers don't grow on trees. And as we saw tonight, we have a good one.

It’s not all on the refs.

NBA is pretty simple when your best 2-3 players outplay the opposition's you generally win.

Paul, Booker, Ayton look to be heading up even if our support cast is cooling off or out from our hot start.

I think we're built really well for playoff basketball too, able to get good teams to play at our pace.

Aren't you the guy who used to blindly defend Dragon Bender and Josh Jackson among others? All I've ever seen you do is bag CP3, it was a bad miss yes but what about the move to get there? What about the rest of the game? Lol

Am I a bad guy for wanting our fan base to be patient with 18 and 19 year old rookies we drafted in the top 5?

Also, gotta slight CP3 so he gets mad and proves me wrong, just like his son and the Free Throws. That's the way the man is built.

(Also, Book lowkey bailed him out, that wasn't exactly a masterfully set up look)
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That's on Ayton for the poor screen IMO. If Ayton gets a clean pick, Booker is wide open for the winner.

Anyone know why Nadar didn't play yesterday?
seemed like we could have used his ability to get to the basket ND draw fouls.

I really hope this isn't "clicking on all cylinders". gotta make fewer mistakes down the stretch because we still barely beat the Mavs.

the other side of that though is he likely has had fewer opportunities for such a shot than most people since our games would not often be close in recent years.
