Suns waive Damian Jones

Post#1 » by SunsRback4Good » Wed Feb 24, 2021 11:01 am

Such a sad day finding out Damian Jones was cut by the team. Let's go around the room and list our favorites moments from Jones.

- I enjoyed seeing him pick up 5-6 fouls within 8 minutes of play. You hardly see that anymore.
- the one handed vicious dunk against Blazers was a thing of beauty.

What else am I missing?

I jumped for joy every time I saw one of our other bigs stand up off the bench while he's on the court because that meant he's probably likely to be subbed off.

I think Damian is pretty cool guy. He commits fouls and doesn't afraid of anything

I liked how he was the only African American player in the league who wore short shorts.

I like that he was a pro. We didn't sign him to be a core piece. Guy knew his role and didn't complain.
He's got more playoff experience that most of our guys combined. I'm sure he shared his experiences with the team.

Lakers picked him up.

Was he that bad? He can dunk and protect the rim at times, no?

He can dunk. Not so much protection on anything. Will give you 6 fouls, and not hard fouls, just regular fouls. He is over 7 foot tall though...

If you're looking at giving up and1's, then you got yourself a keeper.
