lol love the same pic for all 3.

This is our last 'softball' for a while.
I'm not sure how everyone feels but I'm tired of playing weaker teams or injured teams.
It'll be good to see where we stand against the big boys over the next week or so.

I agree. Should be a good barometer of how good the team really is and how far we can really expect to go in the playoffs. Hopefully it galvanizes us going in. Also looking forward to high energy/effort we always come out with against the good teams and of course just watching some good competitive ball games!

Another thing we haven't talked much about is that we've done good job beating teams we should beat.
Even if they aren't pretty, we've found ways to win many of them.

I don't think Miami is really a softball. Their record is not great because of a lot of COVID and injury issues, but they have basically the same team that went to the finals with Ariza instead of Crowder. They added Dipo but he didn't play last night.

Reading the NBA insider playoff round table they were asked who they thought was the 4th best team in the east and they all said Miami.

And yeah, funny to see same pic all 3 times for the last 3 players.

Be good to close out this home stand strong and give us as much cushion as possible going into the road trip. Sacramento will be coming off a back to back with the Wizards, then we have the Spurs coming off a back to back with the Blazers. Tough rest of the month after that.

So are we not gonna have a 3 page discours before the game how the Kings are not a bad team and anybody can beat anybody in the NBA like first time we played them? Also, how we shouldn't take games for granted and so on? Oh how I miss those... NOT! :D

But Holmes and Haliburton should be suns, so the team there on can’t be bad right!

i've noticed that too. I didn't want to say anything in case it jinxes us in a trap game. But certainly the 1st half of the season, there were a bunch of L's we took against teams that really didn't have anything going for them. Save for the loss to the Magic and Wolves a few weeks ago, we've been pretty solid in putting away teams we should be putting away. It's a good sign of where the team is and being in rhythm by beating good and bad teams heading into the playoffs is a real positive.

Holmes would be a great back up C for us, not gonna lie.

Any team can beat any team on any given night. These are all NBA caliber players, up and down every lineup in the NBA.....etc, etc, etc...

Well we have to take every game seriously though. Sac has players that can go off, and probably have the mentality of showcasing themselves to get playing time or better contracts. We don't want to see a game like the Minny game, where we let a rookie have a career game against us.

This will be a good game to focus on defense.

Honestly, if I was Haliburton, I would try and stick it to a team that skipped me in the draft.

We must play with passion and poise. Any team can beat any team on any given night. These are all NBA caliber players who will take advantage and beat you to a pulp. Kings are not a bad team and anybody can beat anybody on any given night and we shouldn't take games for granted or else things will get ugly. Haliburton will attempt to go off for not drafting him so Bridges/Crowder better be prepared and ready for war.

If we could snag him this offseason I would be THRILLED. But doubt it happens.

I feel like Sacramento matches up against us well. They have quick guards who we have trouble with and Holmes is an athletic high energy big, and those types always seem to give us some challenges, particularly when Ayton is off the floor. I still think we have what it takes to win, but shouldn't take them lightly at all.

Sacramento has played pretty well against good teams this year. If they didn't blow so many games against bad teams they'd be sitting in playoff position.

I more meant teams like Orlando, Charlotte, Chicago, OKC, upcoming Kings game. We had a really long stretch of teams we 'should' beat. That ends tonight.
Travelling east against a couple of title contenders and some playoff contenders. We'll see what this team is really made of.
