Ayton moving up the list on the fg % leader board. He was 7th last I checked and in past two games moves from 7th to 4th passing Poeltl, Harrell and Zion. Now only trails Allen, Holmes and Gobert but catching those three is highly unlikely.

This is how a true PG looks like. Many marvel at Doncic as a PG, who's barely at 2 A/TO ratio, Point Book was 1.5 at best. Both of them will gladly take an early shot than pass to a teammate. Suns should look for another great distributor once CP3 is not on the team anymore to keep this team going.

CP3 is truly amazing. He may not have flashy passes like Nash, Kidd and other pg but he always finds his guys in the right spot and is a mini lebron when it comes to team chemistry.

They showed stat half an hour ago on CP3 being 3rd all time behind Stockton and Mugsy when recording 10+ assists on zero turnovers. Paul was at ludicrous 432 games if I recall correctly.

Hehe, it is 43 not 432. :)

Root hard against the Jazz bros. Remember, a tied record with the Jazz means Suns are 1 seed. We could be there Saturday night!

Thanks for the correction my eyes were seeing triple digits for some particular reason.

Jazz play the Lakers twice on the road with AD coming back. Either Saturday or Monday could be big for our guys.

Thought I heard TNT boys say CP on a run 40 assists ... 1 TO
Approaching some record.

That’s ridiculous when you consider his ball dominance. As much as I liked the Rubes...CP has the pudding proof. He’s taken the reigns, exceeding expectations. Glad he picked us, cause he did you know. Good eye CP

DA doing the nasty again! :) Get the man some more shots, especially after switches - he is punishing the small dudes on him, and getting to the line as well. Party time on Suns land!

As he should be. It should be an "automatic" basket or shooting foul if he is in the paint with a 6'6 or smaller dude on him in single coverage. Looks like that's where we are/ he is going, and I couldn't be happier about it! He really can be the baby Admiral as Shaq put it (or an Embiid 2.0) in a couple years - he always had the ability and the athleticism, and now it looks like he has the mindset, the work ethic, the proper attitude towards NBA basketball, which wasn't always the case in the past. If he stays on this path he can be on all-nba teams in a few years, which is a huge accomplishemt with the bigs in the league today.

Please do not bring up Vucecvic again on this board, it's over.

Comes down to consistency. It seems like he's finding his role in our team, and finding ways to get his on a nightly basis. It also seems like things have slowed down and gotten easier.

I feel, in a way, that this is like another rookie year for Ayton. He's learning how to play winning basketball on both ends. And when you have CP3 as your point guard, he's going to be extremely demanding. DA has now (hopefully) adjusted to that, and is able to stand up and be counted on a nightly basis.

If it's finally clicked for Ayton....I don't know who can hang with us in the playoffs. We have so many ways to beat you. Book and CP3 from midrange, Crowder/Mikal from 3, Ayton inside, or the bench mob.

I couldn’t overcome my old-ness and the East Coast time zone last night, fell asleep towards the end of the 3rd. Love to hear that DA had another great game. He’s been so consistent lately. As you guys mentioned he looks downright cranky at times now. Maybe those late nights changing diapers has made him more irritable. Whatever it is I hope it sticks with him for the rest of the season. An aggressive and consistent DA in the playoffs gives us a puncher’s chance of getting out of the west.
