And that seemed to be okay with everyone. The CP3 effect. I ain't gonna sit here in judgment.

You can't play 110% all the time unless that's your thing and you've never been injured. Book's thing is scoring and it's what he does in his sleep. Rebounding and rim protection is what Ayton does in his. For CP3, it's draining 16 footers and not turning it over. For Mikal, it's running, getting around screens and hitting corner 3's.

That's good enough to get a win over a team like OKC, and I'm fine with that. Players who don't miss games in the regular season tend not to miss games in the playoffs, either. Keep some of that fire in the tank. I count one W for the Pacers and one for us. I know which of those teams I'd rather be in the playoffs!

The whole team was uninterested in playing OKC yesterday, not just Ayton. CP3 had some of the laziest passes of the season yesterday.
