I must say I thought this series was over...

But even when AD was playing in the first half, the Suns defended him really well and Monty made adjustments specifically with speeding up the pace.

And man... If CP3 can hit a 3 by Tuesday... Lakers are in BIG trouble.

Since this was an early game it feels like CP3 has another two days off but realistically 1.5 days off before an important game 5. He should not practice again until final 3-4 hours of Tuesdays game. AD might play..last years playoff he looked hurt a handful of times yet it was nothing serious. Feels like an act by him as he always bounces back quickly.

Half the crap I post on the GB you should take with a grain of salt. No legit basketball conversation happens there.

Oddly enough, my biggest "basketball" post on the GB was the Lakers are impressive thread, specifically WRT their coaching staff making adjustments.

Of course, a lot of that has to do with how CP3 has been impacted due to injury, but still.

Monty showed me something today. He didn't make wholesale adjustments, but he tweaked a few things that got the Suns going. I am impressed.

AD might play and maybe the groin will be ok but muscle pulls aren't like a sprain or something you can shoot up for pain and gut it out. They are the kind of injuries that if you push them they get worse. We saw this first hand when the suns kept rushing Booker back from the hamstring issues a few years back.

If he does play you run his ass off a bunch of screens and generally keep him moving. It's the sudden change of movement that's especially hard on a groin.

Guess it depends on how serious.
I pulled my hamstrings playing softball but I still play every week.
If it's serious, I could understand how it can be debilitating.
Groin cost LeBron a lot of time 2 years ago and that cost them the playoffs.
