OT: Reggie Jackson Appreciation Thread

I watched his post-game interview after game 6, watched him all playoffs. The dude played his heart out and is a real one. I wanted to give him props, and congratulate him for a great offseason, and I hope he gets $$ and lands with the team he can finish out his career with.

After our series with the Clippers, I actually put them ahead of Lebron for most hated in my top 10. They are dirty, complaining, trying to hurt players, and I was more pissed watching the games than being happy for the win! I am ecstatic right now and pumped for our first shot in a while to bring home the SHIP!

Also-shout out to Terrance Mann, hope he has a successful career.

Clippers - PG13, Beverly, Cousins, and Morris. All dirty POS players. Dirty, and would rather hurt fellow NBA players than actually compete with skill

I didn't mind George. I thought he was pretty spectacular as well.

Morris and Bev can **** off though.

My issue with George is that he pushes off hard every time while extending his elbow, and gets away with murder. That needs to change in the future.

Reggie Jackson was impressive with the Clippers. I think that he will be back with them but because he was bought out - not sure if they have his bird rights or not

But he was impressive. I still think the Clippers should dump Beverley for a guy like Rubio - just not sure they can get a deal done though.

He was also the only one that was respectful and a good sport after the game was over. Yeah, I like Reggie.

What a career resurgence.
48/40/88 in the playoffs.

They are probably bringing Cam Payne back
but with the MLE -- Reggie Jackson with the way he played this post-season - wouldn't be bad

I just don't know what the Clippers can pay him this offseason and they have the owner who has the deep pockets to pay whatever is needed. So paying the lux tax is not a concern for Ballmer

He probably wants to start. That's what happened when he left OKC. He didn't want to play behind Russ

Reggie Jackson will get more money than Payne, unless he wants to stay with the Clippers (they are in the same boat with us regarding limit on pay after paying him the minimum they can only give him $10-$11 million).

But the PGs out there are Lowry, Jackson, Schroeder, DeVonte Graham (RFA but they have Rozier and Ball). I think another one..maybe Lonzo Ball available.

Those guys probalby all more sought after than Payne.

Yeah. That guy went Super Saiyan the entire post seasons.Looked like a legit All Star caliber player.I think people under-sell the Clippers. They're a very deep, talented squad.Tough & physical.Hardest out in the playoffs imo.

I think he stays with the Clippers than. Ballmer can easily pay that to him. They have a good team - especially if Serge Ibaka opts in. I guess Kawhi has to opt-in or re-do his deal longer term.

Most people think he will get a lot more. I think he very well could be the Knicks #1 option if they don't want Lowry, though if they don't mind Lowry's age, he might be #1. Jackson is a bit younger, only 30.

Though if they don't offer Jackson significantly more, he could stay with the Clips as much as he seemed to have such gratefulness for them for giving him a chance...said he'd be out of the league otherwise. Was on a minimum contract. Payne probably feels much the same way.

It's funny seeing all the Suns doubters saying Clippers was missing Kawhi. Sounds like what 12 year olds take on games.

With Kawhi... Paul George and Reggie Jackson was utilized at best 80% of their abilities.
So with Kawhi out, Clippers remained elite because it just meant George and Reggie has to play near 100% of their abilities... And they have.

Ironically Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are in my top 5 favorite players... So playing the Clippers was a joy to me. But Reggie Jackson has also won me over.

I feared Jackson's shots more than George as it seems he hit 90% of all key huge shots.

And I also applaud Paul George and Reggie Jackson's conduct during the series, both were professionals and I had no issues with their attitude and how they presented themselves.

Yeah, people often fail to see how much guys like George and Reggie stepped up in Kawhi's absence, along with Mann (especially him against the Jazz).

Reggie, Mann, even Zubac earned my respect. I respect PG a little more now too because he was their undisputed leader, played a crap ton of minutes all playoff long and took it right to us.

I'll never have any respect for guys like Cousins, Mobros, Rondo or PatBev

The Morris brothers could become MVP level players and I wouldn't sign them for the vet minimum.

Calling out the Suns fan base for not being loud enough after a 30 point blowout against arch-rivals Spurs at home while shooting the team shot 29.8% from the floor :noway: :noway: :noway:

Their behaviour is frowned upon greatly in the Puddles household.

The Morris Bros were the worst thing to happen to this franchise. Talk about culture destroying.

Both of them being drafted before Kawhi.
And our front office skipping of Kawhi because he sweated too much in his interview.

GOOD OL' TIMES.
