Play CP3 25 mins, Book 30 minutes, Ayton 32, and give some run to Carter and Nader.
We could just give more minutes to the Cams instead. Both are capable to play 30 mins. You could run CP3 and Book around 34-36, and that leaves CamP with around 24-28 minutes. And then run Nader if there is foul trouble or we need more scramble defense. He doesn't take the ball out of anyone's hands. The forward spot is only tricky if Craig is a no go. But then you run a three man rotation with Bridges, CamJ, and Crowder, reserving some of Crowder's minutes to give Ayton rest. If we go small, we could run Book, Nader, Bridges, CamJ, and Crowder. All guys hustle, all guys are good at switching, and Crowder is strong enough to take on either Lopez or Portis.
I don't even think that would be a punt. All our guys play defense well, all of them can score, all of them have had many minutes together except Nader, but we know he hustles, and puts the team before himself. He hasn't even tried to shoot too much, and he was one of better three point shooters before the injury. He was shooting 42% from three during the season, which is fourth best on our team, and third best amongst players getting minutes during the playoffs.
I think we can manage minutes better while not losing any of the defense or offense, and overall tougher for Milw to predict.
