Ok Suns. Time to end this horrible anxious feeling I have since the end of game 3. I'd like my hopeful feeling to come back. As it should.

Lets hope Giannis isn't untouchable like he was last game.

Oh, and I've got $500 that says Crab missed that shot in his pic. Nothing surer.

Time for Booker to have a big night. Send a message. I'm hoping for a win tomorrow and Suns in 5.

They are up 2-1 with home court still. Great stuff there.
Sucks that last game they got a beat down and Booker played like ****. They looked this bad in game 5 versus Clippers and game 3 versus Lakers. It does happen to this team.

The positive: We are up 2-1. The negative: I felt better when we started out 2-0 and then were at 2-1 against the Rockets in 94 AND 95 with Barkley, KJ, Majerle, Chambers, A.C Green, Danny Manning, Danny Ainge, Wesley Person, Elliott Perry, Ceballos, Oliver Miller or Joe Kleine, etc.

If we win this game, I think it's Suns in 5. If we lose, then I'm starting to worry.

No point being the best bounce back team in the league and unable to do it when it matters.

Time to put up.

Giannis is a great player but we haven't ever made him go through us and pressure him into fouls, turnovers and making him settle for jumpers.

Booker is a really good player who plays a high difficulty game style for title deciding games, put the Kobe ego to the side and attack the rim so the pressure is on their defense not his jumper.

All season long our coaches and players have shown they can adjust quickly and impose their game style again the following game so I think we'll see early if that's happening.

In the corresponding game in 1993, Michael Jordan had 55 to take them to 3-1, time to be legendary.

I said it in another post, I want to double Anteto in this game. Not when he is out of the 3p line, but other than that we need to put a second defender on him to make him a passer in this game.

Suns had 2 days to watch how the Raptors of 19 and Heat of 20 swarmed the paint making it difficult for Giannis to score at will. Should we follow that recipe or just allow him to score 40+ like in game 2 while slowing down every other player on their team? I prefer what worked in game 2 allow him to feast while stopping everyone else. We could always make necessary adjustments by halftime and go the first route if needed. We cannot afford to lose Ayton due to foul trouble again as without him the dominoes fall.

I think people overvalue Ayton's foul trouble in the third game.

Ayton did not have any problem with fouls until the last few seconds of the first half (IIRC he committed his third with just 10 seconds left) and we were losing by 15 at halftime. He played his usual minutes in the first half and we were behind in the scoreboard by 15 points already.

Yeah, his absence in the third quarter did not help at all, but we were already in a deep hole.

I think that Book and Mikal's bad games were the key on that loss over Ayton's fouls.

that may be the case but we were still able to cut it to 4 in the 3rd with Ayton still out. If we had him being able to play significant minutes in the second half, does the lead get out of hand?

Skip reported on undisputed that Booker had hamstring tightness in Game 2, which carried over into Game 3.

If he tweaks that hamstring again, all bets are off.

As an aside, I am amused at the amount of fish I'm getting with my hooks on the GB

That is huge.

I knew that he was getting treatment during the game, and Monty benched him in the fourth to rest that right leg.

Hopefully he is healthy for this one.
