Let's go Suns. I want to see a strong locked-in effort from them. Portland was on fire last game and likely would have played well regardless of whatever we were doing, but we looked a step slow across the board. Let them get their shooting and confidence going early and once they started up they didn't stop. We needed to be more aggressive trying to get to the rim when our shots weren't falling. No one seems to be playing that great other than Mikal. Way too early in the season for me to have any concerns yet but the earlier the Suns shake off the rust and get back on track the better. At least we curb stomped the Lakers, but even then we let up after we got the big lead and let them get back in the game. Need effort and focus from tip to buzzer.

Sacramento has always played us tough. Harrison Barnes has been really great for them. I am expecting a close game today.

So can we get a W against a team that we should beat?

I don't know. They beat the Blazers pretty bad. We will miss Payne. They have a solid backcourt. Wonder who Bridges will guard. He is probably the fastest best guy to guard Fox. Maybe put CP3 on Haliburton and Book on Hield when they all 3 play.

This will be a good test. Kings are a nice, young team that’s playing run n gun style.
Monty said in an interview Suns focused on getting better defensively during the bye week (basically what it was) so this will be a good test to show that.
Agree with bw that the 2nd unit misses Payne. Not exactly for his production this season but because he knows how to run that second unit and knows tendencies and things like that already. Hope he’s back soon.

It would be nice to see Wainwright and Smith get minutes tonight! I think Wainwright with his strength and length would/ could be good to help slow down Barnes. Smith should also bolster our rebounding/ length up front ( if he actually gets some minutes).

They both played the same year. Holmes was only playing here one year.
I'm sure you'll figure out a way to figure he did better regardless.
He is good though. A fantasy staple for me I got in the dynasty fantasy draft in the 2nd round last year.

Can Thunder hold on against the Lakers? Can TWolves hold on against the Bucks?
