Don't lose and don't get injured! Otherwise I don't care how ugly.

I feel like it's a trap game but even my mate who's a Detroit fan was saying even he doesn't believe it.

Definitely a trap game.
The NBA scheduling this season has been so stupid. Suns play Warriors again so quickly Friday and on the road. This should be another nationally televised game later in the season instead.

Josh Jackson gets paid $5 million this season to average 7 pts, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 turnover on 40% shooting, 28% from 3 and 69% from the FT.
I think it’s safe to say that this will be his last season in the NBA. Amazing that the Pistons even signed him to a multi yr deal instead of the vet min at most but then again it’s the Pistons so not too surprising.

He has spurts of looking like a decent player but he's just a tweener that would have been great had he been a couple inches taller and a few pounds heavier.
He's ok on the vet min playing 10-15 mins a game though so I don't think this is his last stop in the league.

In the GM poll GM's said he would be the best player of the draft in 5 years. This is the 5th. Breakout time is now!
Watch him dominate and end our streak.

I haven't watched a ton of him since he left although I have watched him a bit more because I've started to tune into Pistons game for Cade. To me, he really hasn't evolved into a more impactful player. The guy still can't shoot and still a very turnover prone player. He's gotten better as a finisher but if you look at his highs by season, his career highs are mostly from his first two seasons as a Phoenix Sun.

Didn't Josh tweet something about Suns fans relying too much on rookies? something along the lines of expecting them to fix the woes of the organization from Day 1 and giving up on them too early. Multiple seasons/teams/opportunities have now surpassed and he hasn't improved much, so when can we expect it, Josh?

He is not professional enough and doesn't have the right mentality to succeed in the NBA. I wouldn't want him back even for the minimum salary.
James Jones made the right move trading him for free. CP3 would hate him as a teammate.

I'm not too fussed about results for these games without Booker, main thing is to not push Paul too far as managing injuries at his age can have an impact down the road.
Hope we can discover a player or two who has that extra gear, there's perception the likes of Bridges, Ayton, Payne, Shamet, Johnson can do more and this would be the time to do some extra scoring.

Well, we should be. We don't know how healthy any player will be going forward. Imagine we had a Klay situtation. We need players to be ready to step up.
Obviously we can't lose Paul, or Ayton, or Bridges, especially in addition to Booker, particulary Paul then Ayton, but we need to be able to deal with adversity and not rely on some built in excuse like other fans of teams do.

So what are people thinking about our starting lineup. Does Monty go with Cam Johnson, sliding Bridges to SG? He did that in the second half of the GSW game. Or ... does Monty start Shamet or Payton or Payne next to CP3.
Lots of players out ... Booker, Nader, Kaminsky, Saric.
Who will get some minutes ... Payton, Smith, Hutchinson, Wainwright??

This is a great game to start an Ayton specific offense. Make him the focus of the game plan. He needs like 20+ shots. Gives him more confidence heading into Fri, since Booker shouldn't play. Also, gives us a true 2nd option to go to when Book comes back and in the playoffs when his and Chris 's shots aren't falling.

Yeah, I think he starts Cam. I guess the main argument not to is because he will likely be needed to backup Crowder or Bridges when they are out, so he could go with Shamet at 2 since we have a bit more depth at guard. I don't really want to see Payton but it seems like we will.
I would probably personally still start Cam and just play guys a lot of minutes...staggering. We basically have 3 rotation guards, 3 rotation 3/4s and 2 rotation Cs plus Payton, Smith, Hutchison.
I think each of Paul, Shamet, Payne, Bridges, Cam and Crowder could play 32 minutes if needed which is enough to cover 4 positions, but I doubt we do that, especially in Shamet's case and probably Payne's, and end up giving Payton like 10+ minutes.
It would be nice if there was a 10 day contract guy we could sign who was worthy of some minutes.

I’d rather they start Shamet. This is why they gave Shamet $10M/yr contract to be able to play spot starter minutes in case of injury.

Chris Paul went +17 after Booker got injured against GSW.
So we should be fine for 36 minutes but the flip side is we'll be extremely vulnerable with the bench plus extras.

10 mins of Elf is 11 mins too much of Elf.
I think he starts Cam and just shifts over Mikal to SG. Hopefully we have this wrapped up by the 4th and can play the bench.

-43 in 76 minutes.
When Chris Paul is on the bench when Devin Booker is injured.
