Tough game monday night! Definitely a must win for us. Anyone hear anything on Ayton? He got sent home from practice by Monty today. Hopefully still nothing Covid related? Anyways, Three players for the paper clips that I'll keep an eye on for Monday's game are:

1- Keon Johnson.
Projected to be a very solid wing defender. Latrell Sprewell ceiling.

2- Jason Preston.
Great guard and silky smooth ballhandler. Rod Strickland/ Luke Ridenour?

3- Isiah Hartenstein.
Very solid and intense big ( 7 ft) 4/5. He's like a rich man's Kaminsky. Or a better Cody Zeller with shooting range and defense. Anyways, I really hope that we pull this one out!

Anyone gonna check out Shamet vs Kennard for this one?? :dontknow:

Warriors lost today so it would be great if we can get the win. They have back to back Monday and Tuesday just like us.

When is Booker back? Any updates on him? How about Ayton?
(Not that I necessarily want him back for this game, Clippers are winning by really slim margins against averageish teams lately. We should be OK without Book as well. No Book and no Ayton could mean trouble, unless McGee is MVP again.)

I don't expect Ayton back for this one.

Booker...maybe. He is just shooting but not practicing for now, so I think he will not play neither. He needs to participate in a full practice with contact before a coming back.

I know Nader has been really disappointing this season but with injuries to the roster, we could really use a nice sized wing like him on the court. I'm not sure Ish has been cutting it. Maybe I missed it but has there been any updates on his return timetable? Or is it going to be like last season where he was out for a bunch of time and then boom, surgery and he's out until the WCF?

kinda bad feeling about next couple of days. With Ayton still likely out and a back to back coming up, it's really important we win at least one.

Basically playing the Clippers bench we should be fine - Jackson, Kennard, Mann, Morris, Zubac.

Away b2bs are tough so could be close against Portland.

I get the feeling PG-13 will play. He's taken a couple games off already.

Did you look at the #s and who they started in their last win? I think Mann and Kennard led them to victory...or maybe Jackson..I think all the starters did well... no George.

It might have been a little uncharacteristic but they are a well coached tough team. If George plays, we know what to expect based on the playoffs.

George may be a bigger loss for them than Ayton OR Booker, but not as big of a loss as both.

oh i agree. i was just saying that especially if George plays it will be especially tough for us, and especially if Ayton doesn't play either.

Suns players were out partying last night in LA. I have a couple friends out there that work with wealthy clients as a concierges for clubbing/partying etc and they were sending me snaps of Book/CP3/Crowder and few other players out pretty late in North Hollywood.

Not surprising, I think most non LA teams probably party the night before or the night after the game when they visit LA. I would too if I was young and rich lol.

But still especially being shorthanded, I can see the players being sloppy from a hangover resulting in an L. I might gamble a little on the betting lines, Suns are favorites right now for tonight.

CP3 doesn't seem like he'd be a drinker. For Book it doesn't really matter. He can be hungover as he watches.
