Its going to be tough tonight if Crowder and Wainright have to play the 5 against Nurkic.

Well, we started 1-3 so we would have had to.

Double trash performances from Phx teams against LA teams last night. Cards pathetic showing had me too cranky to bother posting since it gave me a bad vibe about the Clips game (which turned out to be right). At least they shouldn't have any time to party before this game. I'm OK with an L tonight as long as they play hard and look focused. Wainwright seems like he could be useful if he could hit corner 3s but his shooting looks worse than Payton's. Can we cut Hutchison and re-sign Galloway so I can watch some good shooting for a change? Last night would've been a great opportunity for Smith to get some time and build a little momentum, too bad for him he was sick. The rumors of him and Ayton being out for a trade are concerning...if we do trade Ayton and don't get someone back for him that is a really good defender we're going to get worse as a team...

Possibly flu going around the team? Ayton, Smith and a non-performance last night.

Wtf would we trade Ayton?

The fact that this is even a possibility in some of y'alls mind is disturbing.

Thanks man!
I forgot that we started like that. With two in a row. I suppose I just could have looked at our win/ loss calendar though. But I forgot that too. Anyways, Thanks for the answer on that one.

I don't want us to trade Ayton, I'm one of his biggest fans here. Maybe I misunderstood but I thought from reading the game thread last night there were rumors of that being the case? Maybe it was just speculation and not a real rumor. I hope so.

It wasn't a rumor. It was just some random poster saying it. There's been nothing about an Ayton trade. Can't think of a single reason why they'd make such a major move. We probably win that game last night if we had him.

Agree, last night it just looked like we didnt have enough athleticism and size out there to compete.

Paul is old
Shamet is much smaller than booker
Bridges was good
Jae is undersized
Javale stunk

No backup bigs

Anything is a possibility. To shut your mind off that possibility would be foolish.

We don't know what Jones wants to do and quite honestly, I don't know if Sarver/Jones wants to pay Ayton what he's asking for so it's not impossible for a trade to go down. Highly unlikely but it's not a non-zero chance.

I just got home from getting two wisdom teeth pulled and a cavity filled because of said wisdom teeth, and it was a more pleasant experience than last night's game. Let's hope this one isn't as stinky poo poo.

Edit: I may avoid the internet after the novocaine wears off and I start popping the pain pills.

Hopefully Ayton is back tonight we really need him with Frank out as well. No Bigs is tough for any team to win.

By that rational anything is possible.

How about the Mavs trading Luka for Zion (his video game chair, cheeseburgers and his cases of Mountain Dew/Twinkies included at no extra cost) ? Or maybe the LAL trading Lebron for Booker? I mean that IS Chris Paul's best friend in the league and all. The two of them could ride out together in the sunset with a ring.

There's any number of things that are *in theory* possible. NapoleonII is right. Stick to the real possibilities. At least find a random tweet that says the Suns are looking at trading DA this season. Before wasting people's time w/ that nonsense.

A lot of people speculate about him being traded. Many hope he is and don't think he's worth a big pay day. People always think people sitting out due to non serious injury may mean they will be traded.

I hope they don't trade him and don't really think they will as good as we've been the last two years with this core, but I also expected them to try and negotiate with him this summer but his agents say nothing was ever put on the table or anything.

Some may think we are just as good of a team overall, even if some big wins against poor teams while Ayton was out skewed the net ratings, but obviously it wouldn't be fun watching JaVale try to guard Giannis or switch onto wings or guards if we stuck with our same switch defense.

But they has been lots of posters talking about various trades, whether it be John Collins in the past, Towns, Sabonis and others.

Maybe Flex will have a tweet for us.

Honestly all of our trades come out of the blue outside of the Paul one because he was shopping for a house.

Draft night for Cam, Saric, Shamet, trading TJ Warren, JJ, Melton, etc.

It would be dumb to trade him barring some no brainer but I can't really see any no brainers out there.
