The Saints would definitely be an interesting matchup.

No new updates on the Suns' injury report. Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, JaVale McGee and Abdel Nader remain in protocols.

Valuncias is going to be a load for Smith! He'll have to counter with his mobility a lot. Also a great game to explore some Smith/ Biyombo combinations for specific matchups or doubles? Our guys have been doing great though. It'll be interesting to see what counters Coach Young comes up with tommorow! I'm having eyes on Herb Jones tommorow too!

Damn, Stix about to get man handled by Valenciunas, the guy is probably 50 pounds heavier. Biyombo will get plenty of looks.

If Smith gets tossed around in the first half, it wouldn't surprise me if Biyombo gets the start in the 2nd half to lineup with Jonas

The speculation has been they will return on the 6th against LAC.

It'll be interesting to see if Stix continues to get time with Monty back. Still strange though to not have Crowder or Ayton back yet. Weren't they in protocols before Monty? ( at least a day or two)??

Crowder was placed on Dec 26th, Ayton Dec 27th, McGee Dec 30th, and Nader Jan 2nd. So Crowder, who was placed first, has been out 8 days so far.

That is probably why they signed Jackson to a 10 day.

It's weird because I thought we signed Jackson last week. Guess that was false news

I don't think that was finalized. perhaps we contact guys in advance as "next ups" and then ink the deals as the main roster goes into protocols?

Paul, Booker, Bridges, Johnson, Smith
Payne, Payton, Wainwright, Biyombo
Graham, Hart, Ingram, Jones, Valanciunas
Alvarado, Alexander-Walker, Temple, Clark, Hayes
Going 3-2 wouldn't be a bad result before getting our 8 man rotation back.

They should beat us on the interior. But we have a decided advantage in our playmaking. IF we can double the post well ( Ingram/ Valuncias), lockdown the perimeter and limit their 2nd chance points/ rebounds,, We should be able to win this game. But we really need to communicate defensively and rebound as a team!
