Many sleeping on the Miami Heat but I have this two teams meeting in the NBA finals. Heat have quietly added three players who have won an nba championship in the previous 3 seasons (Lowry, Morris, Tucker) All have insane playoff experience and play defense well. Can't take this team for granted should be a great game. Go Suns!!!

This is literally the first time I've been critical of Payton on this board. I like him as a player and praised his signing. But his minutes have not been good, some of that is because he's being played off ball which is not his strength, but I don't think anyone would argue he's been beneficial for us this year.

Elf is like McGee, he'll make three good plays and 2 bad ones, or vice-versa.

But I like how much he's looking to drive / get to the hole and he finishes pretty well. It's something different from our guards.

You can't play Payton ahead of Shamet and that won't happen (unless Shamet is out)...Shamet needs to get more experience with the team given his long contract. He is also way better off ball and will be guarded out to the 3 to spread the floor whereas Payton won't.

I showed Payton's shot chart earlier and he can't shoot outside of like 3 feet and he's often bad at that with his drives. Players can play off him and focus on passing lanes. He also is terrible defensively. Shamet is not good but he puts in a lot of effort. He's like where Book was his first 5 years.

Book has really improved and near neutral...can also be better than neutral and solid when really engaged on defense.

Can someone plz post more of those awesome trades where we send Shamet and Dario for someone awesome who is expiring so we can keep stix going forward and win the championship this year

With no Butler and Bam, we should really win this, though I know a few key players are rusty. Spoelstra a great coach though and always has them play tough like we do when missing guys.
