In regards to the poll, Ayton I think he's missed too many games (I know guys like Klay will probably be in). Bridges is fighting with draymon for DPOY and should be 1st all defense

I would say this is a game for resting guys because of how depleted we are, but it looks like we won't be allowed to due to it being on TNT. Gonna be tough to pull this one out unless Harden doesn't play.

Durant, Aldridge, and Harris all are out due to injuries. Harden should be playing.
McGee should be feeling a bit closer to 100% so hopefully he has a good game.

regarding Murray, maybe it's just bitterness but I find it obnoxious that being 11th seed doesn't bar you from getting all-star these days while Booker has been continually snubbed whether or not he was on bad teams or good teams. Murray has great numbers but so did Booker in the bubble season despite the Suns having a better record than the Spurs do now.

We don't have enough guys to rest any guys. I am surprised we haven't sign a 10 day contract for someone. Aren't we allowed any due to injuries? I understand the hardship 10 days are only for Covid, but what does a team do when they have 8 players out because of injuries.

yeah good point lol. but I guess if the game gets out of hand quickly, maybe it's a good time to let the bench guys some time tonight. CP has been going pretty hard lately anyway.

We should be using them anyway. CP should get some rest, which is why I didn't understand Paul and Payton on the floor at the same time, especially when Shamet wasn't injured. Ish can play 3-4, Smith can play 4-5, so before Shamet went down, we had enough guys to limit minutes for our stars.

Klay needed to get voted in as a starter to have a chance. I don't think Coaches will give him a single vote.
DA's chances went out the window when Wiggins got voted to start. It doesn't help that he's missed half the season.
If either make it, it's DA. But I don't expect either to (despite voting for DA)

I think the team will really get up for this one. Even without KD, this is such an important game.

Managing minutes will be tough but doable. (33 Paul, 15 Elf) at point, (38 Book, 10 Bridges) at sg, (28 Bridges, 10 Cam, 10 Ish) at sf, (28 Cam, 5-10 Ish, 10-15 Stix) at pf, and (28-30 Biz, 18-20 McGee) at center, and we could always give some minutes at the five to either Smith or Ish if there are foul troubles or one is having a great game. Sure hope the refs don't call ticky tacky calls which will limit our players' playing time. Hopefully our deep bench guys can step up giving our stars more rest. We need our best players to stay healthy.

I know it's an obvious thing to say but no KD makes me feel ALOT better about tonight

I hope Booker doesn't have a chuck fest as he tends to do on national tv. Unless of course he's drilling them.

Right But I would have included Booker in those teams so it makes sense I would include Murray.
It's a weird year though. Too many injuries. Murray would be out if Kawhi, George, AD, Draymond played more games. And there's one less spot available due to the Wiggins selection.

So I made a bet with my friend who was a die hard Nets fan all his life that the loser tonight has to dye their hair the brightest color of the winning team. So if the suns lose and anyone in the NY area sees a young Jewish guy with white hair and black frosted tips, you know who it is

Great news!
Still no KD, but we have a real test tonight.

perhaps this is another game where going small wouldn't kill us, and might even help us against the Nets.

I voted Bridges on the poll. Mainly because of games played and Gobert and Towns being there. I'll be surprised if Dejounte Murray makes it. His TS% is really bad at under 51%. Our only players lower than that are Payne (49.8%), Wainwright (47.4%), and Elfrid Payton (an impressive 39.4%). I am not sure I remember a player getting minutes with a sub 40% TS%. Shamet is at 53%. Interestingly enough, after Shamet, our next lowest on TS% is Booker, at 55%.
