They are always a tough team to play, even without their top two players. With our new reserves, I think we will be fine in this game. I can't wait to watch this game.

I think Powell is out now too, who might be their best player (with the other two out) after the trade with Portland.

Blow them out early so CP3 doesn't have to play the 4th quarter.

Mann and Jackson played heavy minutes last night so they should be plenty tired for this one. Everyone else on their team will be plenty rested though. Marcus Morris always likes having random **** MJ type games against us, i might pick him up for cheap on fanduel.

Ty Lue is a really underrated coach. That Clippers team should be the worst team in the league considering their injuries but their almost at .500. That’s crazy. Because of LeBron, Lue doesn’t get the credit he deserves but the man is a top 10 coach for sure.

I think he’s far better than some of the overrated but popular guys like Doc Rivers and Stan Van Grundy.

Worth noting Ayton has yet to play against the Clippers this season. The first matchup was when he was out with COVID and the second was when he had the ankle injury.

Ayton definitely matches up well against them, and should give us an edge. I do have to give the Clips and Lue credit, a lot of locker rooms would have packed it up when Kawhi and George both went down, but those guys are out there fighting and are going to make the playoffs. Can beat anyone on a given night, so I hope the Suns are locked in and focused on this one.

Ayton is gonna be a factor for sure tonight. It's so easy to score in front of Zubac, he reminds me of Kaman on defense.

Amare and Nash were terrific against any team but I remember them destroying particularly Kaman EVERY time.

Other than Zubac they have solid defenders at every other position. Tough game for sure, but I expect another win.

Trap game. Hopefully no injuries occur. Some reason I get worried we’ll get injured playing the Clippers.

Shouldn't be a trap game, the suns had too much trouble with the clips switch everything style last year to take this game for granted regardless of who's out for LA.

Damn, Lue manages to get so much production out of his players. Boston Jr off the bench gets 8 points in 4 minutes. We need to make our shots, and get out on those three point shooters. If Batum is allowed to shove our players all game long with no calls, I am going to be pissed.

Over under: Zubac commits 7-8 moving screens and gets called for 1. On the other end, McGee commits 3-4 moving screens, gets called for 2.

Yeah, I said the same in the offseason. Just getting to the WCF and knocking out the Jazz without Kawhi and taking those last two games with their next best guys being Reggie Jackson, Mann, etc, was pretty amazing.

And really giving us all we could handle. If we don't get that crazy alley oop that series it may have been completely different. They won games 3 and 5 so if all else remained the same they would have had a 3-2 lead after 5 instead of us. Of course you have the butterfly effect and all and maybe things play out differently but they beat us by 14 in each of those games while we won game 2 by 1 and game 4 by 4 after winning game 1 by 6.

He has them play tough.

Can you have a trap game after a trap game? I don't know that I would consider it that given we played them in the WCF.

They've got solid perimeter defenders, but no one to really counter us inside. We've proven of late that we can punish teams that play small or play 5 out, in the paint. We absolutely destroyed Milwaukee in the paint and Giannis is a much better interior defender than anyone the Clips have on their roster, and adding Craig should make us even stronger inside and on the glass. This strikes me as a game where DA and JaVale could both have double doubles.

We made a conscious effort to get Ayton the ball in the paint on switches against Milwaukee, which is our best realistic option for dealing with switching, but not something we've made a concerted effort to do previously. Hopefully that can continue. Clipps are tough for us on both ends due to the switching on D and the isolating on O since thats one of our biggest defensive struggles against athletic ball handlers. Theres a pretty simple way to get points I think, less so on options for defense (besides the Clipps just missing a lot of their best scorers).

Ok...so here's my 3 leg parlay for tonight...Suns will win but I took LA +13...Cam to hit at least 3 threes...and over 222...I just think this won't be our usual 20+ point blowout...should I stick with it?
