"The owner of the Suns was revealed in the ESPN story last November -- how Sarver, the principal owner of the Phoenix Suns, made all these racist and misogynist statements. And [the NBA] said they were going to investigate it," Sharpton said at the New York City headquarters for the National Action Network, a civil rights organization that he founded in 1991. "Well, how long does it take for an investigation when you have videos and people that come forward?
"I put the call in [Friday] to the NBA that we want them to close the investigation and remove [Sarver] or tell us the timetable by the convention." The National Action Network is slated to hold its annual convention April 6-9 in New York City. "We are not going to allow people to affect the culture of the NFL or the NBA and insult us and act like that's acceptable behavior," Sharpton said. "They think, because it was November, everybody forgets about it, and that's why we wanted to put that pressure on. So we are, on the Phoenix Suns."

I am not a Robert Sarver defender but expect he did make some mistakes along the way, we all do.
My problem is that most of the complaints are coming via Earl Watson, or so it appears. I could not stand Earl Freaking Watson as a player and even less as a coach. During his tenure in Phoenix I basically took a hiatus from the Suns. Al Sharpton is another peace of work as well. I understand equal opportunity and how some (Let's say virtually all of the NFL owners) will not make a black man coach of their franchise. However, from what I have seen, Robert Sarver truly believes in diversity, along with his counterparts in the NBA. While he has struggled with the winning part of being an owner until he hired Monty Williams) a Black man. He certainly has more black players than our previous owner JC ever had.
If the investigators finds a totally off the rails franchise, then I hope Bobby is out as owner. I also hope they are investigating Earl Freaking Watson. I have no use for him and if Sharpton is up his arse, I have no use for him either.
I expect none of the current players or coaches will take part in Sharpton's demonstration. Watson will probably be front and center.
Why does this crap have to be an issue when we are trying to win a championship. I expect Watson is jealous of Monty. Earl got a job he should never have received and he stunk it up. Undoubtedly the worst head coach in the history of the NBA.
We have such a wonderful team that really like each other, let us enjoy the ride. Al Sharpton, please stay the fook out of Phoenix.
