Be nice if Cam was back but I guess he needs a cpl more days. Maybe Memphis, we'll actually need him for that one.

Surely the players don't want to go to the playoffs with 1-3 rs record vs Warriors. This should be another win.

Yeah, it definitely should be but the problem is with Curry out we can't really get an idea of what to expect, and they could drop to the 4 seed and a second round matchup.

I'd much prefer Dallas or Utah in the 2nd round.

I never advocate resting players, but this is one I might think about doing it. Don't show GS anything, we can't the season series anyway (not that it matters) and we could force the to face either Memphis or a healthy Clips team if Kawhi comes back or even George, Jackson, Powell, Covington, Batum, Kennard, etc, can beat Memphis.

To have to meet only one of a potential potent Clips team, Memphis and GS is a win and the reason you go for the 1 seed. We have HCA locked up throughout the playoffs.

there is an outside chance that both Denver and Utah jump the Warriors and they end up at 6. Only two games difference right now between the three teams.

it's still pretty unlikely, and will likely take the Warriors blowing one of the Lakers or Sacramento games to finish 1-5 to end the season. Then both Denver and Utah would jump them if they both go 4-2.

I don't think it really matters what the seeding is for this team. Healthy Clippers is the only thing that would worry me, but I still think they would win in 6-7.

As far as resting, I don't think we'll see guys rest until there are 2-3 games left. I think Booker and CP3 may be limited against the Clippers on the final B2B.

As far as Cam Johnson, I think he comes back on Friday in Memphis. I think we'll see the team play the guys normal minutes for the Warriors, Grizzlies, Thunder, and Lakers games.

That's almost impossible. For either Denver or Utah to catch them they'd have to go 6-0 and GS 3-3 to tie AND own tiebreaker or 5-1 and have GS go 2-4 and have tiebreaker. If they don't have tiebreaker it would be 6-0 and GS 2-4 or 5-1 and GS 1-5.

I definitely don't think players will rest anyway. It will be interesting. GS has played well against us at times, even shorthanded and Curry had regressed as well.

In one game Otto Porter was on fire so it may come down to their shooting from guys like Poole, Wiggins, Klay and Porter and then Green and Looney making it tough on Ayton (they usually do with one boxing out and the other rebounding). GS has been one of the best rebounding teams this year.

i dunno, I guess I saw San Antonio and New Orleans to put up good fights against the Warriors, due to desperation. Utah and Denver are intact enough to beat them but Golden State is spiraling. I guess it's all speculation anyway.

I think the Suns have this one circled, Curry or not.

Yeah, I think Paul will really want to keep playing not resting. Bridges will want to keep his ironman rating going, so he won't sit. Maybe after the 63rd win things will change, but I think the whole team wants to win out going into the playoffs. As for GS or any other team, they could easily get hot hands from reserves, so any team can be a threat to beat us. But overall, we are so solid 1-12, that I am not to worried about losing a regular season game down the stretch.

The Suns lost the Xmas day game because of rebounding, the loose balls and effort. And yes Porter I think had a really good game.

Without Curry, they are struggling - maybe he should get more MVP votes. I am not sure about tonight - load management the game and not give them anything or just show up and see if you can win. I do not think their confidence, if they lose, would matter.

I don't care who the Suns get in the playoffs but I would like to roll the Warriors and in the clinching game invite Mr Orange down to the bench to "coach" the Suns like Kerr pulled that bullsheet a few years ago.

Plan for every game...win...looking at Book to go 26-7-6 Paul 15-12 Ayton 28-14...Suns 122-104

Gonna be tough to beat the Warriors with their all-star starter still playing. Missing Curry shouldn't be a problem when they also have two former all-stars and even a Finals MVP on the roster.


On a serious note, I hope the Suns are dialed in. Just pray no injuries.

We need to set the tone early and keep the pressure on for the duration. This is a statement game for us regardless of whether their big three are all in the court or not.
