Hopefully the great D in the second half of game 5 is showing up tonight! Monty keep the same subs with a little more Holiday. Close them out tonight

No clips of the Luka special or the "Everyone's tough after a win"!

Could be a Chris Paul revenge game against the fans after messing with his family there...hopefully he is more back to normal self, though he still is usually quiet during the first few quarters...Book and sometimes Ayton carrying first quarter load..., etc.

If Suns don't win today I'll question our players' killer instinct. They should not be lacking any motivation for this one.

I love the trash talking thats going on in the NBA playoffs this season. It sucks that fans who started watching basketball like 4-6 years ago are all upset about it because their not used to seeing it.

But I grew up watching guys like AI/Shaq/Kobe/Artest etc all talking smack. Basketball is entertainment and this is part of that entertainment. When I play basketball at the park recreationally, people talk smack to me and I’ll talk smack to them too. It’s all part of the fun.

Lot of people hating on Towns/Beverly/Morant/Luka/Curry/Booker/Draymond etc for talking smack. It doesn’t make sense to me, they should absolutely talk their s***t and go back and forth and all that.

That’s how basketball used to be before the whole buddy/buddy system that’s more popular now. This is the playoffs!

Only time I’m not a big fan of trash talk is when it’s scrubs who aren’t even rotation guys are the ones talking ****. Even then, it’s not all that bad.

I hope this Booker/Luka thing becomes a real thing and both players hate each other like the big rivalries back in the day. But I don’t see it happening considering how players are today but it would still be cool to see.

Suns going for their 5 playoff win in two years with Coach Monty
this would be the fourth time closing out on the road in Game 6

I think they get it done. They know what they need to do to beat the Mavericks.

I expect Booker to receive a lot of boos first quarter of the game. He seems to be the number one villain for Mavs fans. I hope Booker drops 40+ but I think it’s more likely CP3 has a 25+ 10+ assists night. Would prefer Ayton and Bridges keep up the aggressiveness like they did in game 5.

8 hours from now seems like forever. I like our chances tonight. Echoing what has been said here earlier, but I think Booker and Paul will have a big night together.

Crowd will be amped
try to take a few early shots
limit the threes early, late and in between
play defense like they did tuesday
Bizzy and Shamet again in over Payne and McGee

I can see Luka wanting to take a lot of shots early in the game

Hopefully a big game from CP3 tonight. He’s been due for being as great of a player he is. Dallas has done a good job defending him (even with high shooting %s, their still holding him to his 3rd lowest PPG series of his entire career in the playoffs) but he’s gotta get it going sometime.

I'd rather everyone else get going, and if he needs to step up at some point and take over like he can, he can. We've basically played that way the whole season with success. I know it's the playoffs but I want everyone to get shots and get into it.

This actually might be the first team he's been on where he had to go to scorers. Ayton was mostly just a finisher before this year but now has that hook shot and some more moves. Even Mikal drives and creates his own shot sometimes.

He was the 3rd leading scorer in reg season (Book 26.8, Ayton 17.2, Paul 14.7)

2nd round he was 2nd, but the top 3 were pretty close (Book 23 ppg-of course missed 2.5 games, Paul - 22.3, Ayton 20.5 then Bridges 17.3)

He's obviously struggled some in this series after his big game in game 2, but it more near his regular season avg (Book 26.8, Ayton 16.8, Paul 14.2)

I think Book being out kind of boosted the other guys' averages.

It is nice when our scoring can be more evenly distributed though and the D doesn't know who to key on.
