Another night, another game, well known enemy.

This is a statement game. We cannot afford to squander any opportunities to putting them away early despite being without Johnson, Payne, or whoever else.

This is where we could use Jae Crowder, but he's a damned coward and has no heart.

I did hear it here first!

I see you copied my revision of your post and updated title of the other thread since you hadn't made one...and copied my poll.

I changed it. By name, Barkley seems like he would win this poll, but given today's NBA and their strengths/skills, I wonder if Marion is the better fit. Barkley could be a monster rebounder but I think Marion was so good at rebounding and with his second jump, offensive board/tip ins, etc, overall d.

If we could take any past player and insert them in our lineup. I thought about Uncle Cliffy too.

McDyess would also be a great finisher/dunker and pretty good rebounder/solid shot blocker but he can't shoot 3 at all...and is also injury prone.

Don't be surprised to see C.Johnson with a torn off the bone glute after sitting down on the bench in AD attire.

I think Torrey Craig getting to start and play with that unit will make him look a lot better. He seemed to play well when starting in Denver and just playing more with Paul, Booker, Bridges and Ayton should really help him. Will just have to stagger Book and Bridges more with the bench.

Nice play from Ayton...catching ball, putting on floor and going in for dunk.

I would love it if Craig could be even half the player Marion was for us. He's got the motor and most of the athleticism, but he needs work in his defense and rebounding.

We desperately need a true four man. That is the key to our struggles and has been for several years now. Here's to hoping we can get anyone for Coward... err... Crowder.

Thanks for changing thread in last nights game but I got home few hours ago and had a short window in creating a new one. I do like your new poll better not that anything was wrong with the other.

I think both Barkley and Marion would excel in todays league as great players can always adjust on the spot and change their games no matter what decade they play in. Any player that can space the floor and hit threes from our past teams should excel in the league today. Raja, Imagine Barbosa in his prime, Cliffy like you mentioned, would love to see Amare dominate and dunk on people again, Nash would take more threes playing under Monty or maybe not?

“The Phoenix Suns fear forward Cam Johnson has suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Sam Amick.

Johnson is undergoing further evaluations, but testing indicates a meniscus injury, Charania adds.“

This would be devastating if true. The recovery for torn meniscus is roughly 3 to 6 months. Cam is clearly our best shooter and without him we get eliminated in the 2nd round again.

Eubanks should be tossed... but won't.

His season is most likely over and if so, I'm willing to bet Crowder comes crawling back because now he'll be needed more than ever. Even with the Johnson injury, I'd rather Crowder not see the court another moment in a Suns jersey.

Crowder gave up on this team last thing Suns fans want/need is see him play for us again. It definitely would make sense now more than ever for him to suit up given Cam’s injury, but I’d rather trade him for few decent players.

Saric and Okogie have until about when Payne comes back (where they'll both get minutes) to prove who should get the minutes with Johnson out. Neither doing a ton lol but I think I'd roll with Okogie as long as he doesnt share the court with Craig

Astros six outs away from winning a WS. I’m sure this makes Grumpy happy seeing as Phillies eliminated his team few weeks ago.

Our starters playing good so far balance scoring by all of them. Paul & Craig with 5, Ayton 6, Book & Bridges with 7. Lee has 6 off the bench along with Landale & Shamet with 3. Gotta keep up the defensive mentally and we shall be fine.

We may be pretty lucky to get even to the 2nd round. Not just because of Cam..he's the starter injury we can handle the best, but just because we were thin to become with, have an older injury prone PG and the west is very very tough.

Though I guess so far the Clips and Warriors have looked bad, but I doubt the continues all season.
