Yeah the Suns look sluggish to start the game. The Heat are getting wide open 3s. Hoping someone steps it up.

The Heat's entire defensive plan is to smother Booker. Hope the other guys can figure that out and take advantage of it.

haha, I literally said that to LV-Suns. They are already doubling Booker, just shows what the Heat coaching staff thinks about the rest of the Suns starting five.

Caleb Martin about to have a career night. We love giving up career nights to non-star players.

Teams also love to have unconscious shooting nights from 3 against us.

That's the plan for a lot of teams lately.

This is why when we shoot horribly from 3 our offense looks like total garbage. We just have incredibly streaky shooters besides Cam Johnson and other teams have figured that out.

The Heat 7/8 from three...ridiculous.

It's gone full circle back to Book's early years, except now they don't lose more than they win, at least. These injuries to the team really throw a wrench in the works.

Ugly first quarter. Been fortunate that the Heat are ball watching on their defensive rebounding, allowing us some O.rebounds.

First quarter vibes are worrying. Devin Doncic looks to be playing tonight.

Definitely could have been worse. Definitely should have been better. Suns missing a lot of shots short. Need to get more behind them. Bridges and Craig the most guilty on that so far.

Of course Duncan Robinson goes 0-6 last game and then kills the Suns lol

It's always funny to come into a game thread and not see one positive post especially after we start shooting the ball 50% overall and 62.5% from 3 and also already have 4 offensive boards. Unfortunately they started out shooting even hotter.

I think games will be tough to win since Crowder is sitting out (not a big deal by itself) but puts Cam normally in the starting lineup and then we are missing our all star PG and a shooter.

We had depth problems to start the season but are really thin now. All games will be challenging if we are missing 2 starters. The Heat haven't played well early (though still only have 2 fewer wins than us) but that just probably means they are more desperate to get things on track...we know they have talent. And we are on the road.

So a win would be nice being this shorthanded against a solid team.
