CP3 is back!

Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul - barring a setback - intends to make his return tonight against the Boston Celtics after being sidelined for a month with heel injury, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

This game is gonna be FUN. THe Celtics are the best team in the league right now and their two All Stars are killing it.

With CP3 back on the lineup we can fight with them and win the game.

Hopefully Craig plays too because he is a good defender with size, experience and athleticism to put on Tatum and Jaylen.

it really depends on what shape Paul is in right now. What has he been doing the last few weeks? we know of one practice but what else?

We all knew Chris Paul had a nagging injury that after a month off should be in better playing shape. I wouldn’t be surprised if he puts up 20/10/5 in his first game back against a powerhouse like the Celtics. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Phoenix beats the Celtics still missing CamJ & Craig. We normally show up against great teams.

I believe CP3 was held back intentionally. Also not playing vs Mavs on a b2b after Luka targeted him in the playoffs. He could be rusty, but Celtics are still betting favorite even as a guest, so a loss doesn't matter much. It's nice he's back. Hopefully Craig, Cam J and Crowder replacement join the team soon as well.

I personally thought he came into the season out of shape and used the time off to get his body right. I noticed earlier in the season that he looked a bit more pudgy than before. I think the Suns definitely benefited from it though. Good to to have him back!!

Hopefully we come out looking better than we did against Dallas.

We definitely will with Paul & Craig back the Suns will feast on the Celtics. Mavs just caught Phoenix missing a handful of players that any great team would lose to. Now CP3 is fully healthy should help in our favor plus we’re playing at home which is another plus in my book.

I don't expect to win this, but it sure would be nice if we did. They are on a 65-66 game win pace.

I'm not expecting a ton from CP3 nor a W. Celtics are rolling right now whereas we've lost 2 of the last 3

We’re too short on wings to be favored against a wing heavy team. Doesn’t mean we can’t win though. Ayton is the x factor that would give us the edge if he shows up tonight.

We can't have another drubbing. We need to get a statement win here if possible. Is Paul back? I didn't see him on the pregame injury list per ESPN.

Ayton is soft man. Why doesn’t he ever contest shots?

This is kinda all I’m hoping for in this one as well. And to come out with no additional injuries. A good competitive game would be good, while a win would be great.

Nice to see CP3 back before March/April. Sabrestar was almost right, only off by one week in his projection :)

I just don’t get it. He’s so frustrating to watch.
