Any chance we can beat the hot, streaking Lakers tomorrow night? This might be tougher then the pelicans game. Booker might need to put up 65 this time for us to secure another victory.

Yes, since AD is out.

Booker is questionable for this game.

Did he tweak his injury or did they just leave his status the same? What about Ayton? We can probably beat them without Ayton with AD out. I just want to make sure he is fully healed. His ankle roll looked pretty bad to me.
I wonder when Cam will be back. It was supposed to be 1-2 months and it's been over 5 weeks.

Groin soreness. He is out for tonight's game.

Maybe why you shouldn't be playing him 45 minutes a night to win a game that doesn't really matter

For sure we're catching some breaks in games here with Davis out as well as key players being out or sitting out in past games despite our own litany of injuries. What I'm really concerned about throughout this season is honestly Books durability playing this many minutes to cover Paul's progressive decline!
And even moreso once Paul leaves if we employ a "Point Book" premise as our post Paul solution, How would playing such heavy minutes affect his injury issues and possibly his long term durability as these injuries accumulate??

Looks like Lebron is out as well. I don't think this game will be very watchable.

What is going on with those fake injuries? How long Silver let this continue? Some years ago Pop was the bad guy when rest starters back to back games. Now its normal.

Fake injuries. ****, LeBron is like 100 years old, Davis is made of glass and Booker just carried an entire team on his back, of course he's sore

looks legit to me

I think that game mattered more than your average regular season game.
Losing to the same team 3 times in 10 days, in your conference....good teams do not let that happen.

Upcoming schedule is really tough so i take all helps what opponents give to us. Early Christmas presents by Clippers and Lakers came both in handy.

I'm normally in the don't burn guys out in the regular season camp. But Booker was having an out of body experience/game of his life second half, I completely understand not taking him out.

LeBron is 38 years old, so makes sense to rest him a game here and there.
Anthony Davis is out for a month, so it’s not a fake injury.
Booker is out because he is dealing with groin soreness. Everyone knows that Booker would never sit a game being healthy, he is old school... so it’s for real. Hopefully with a bit of rest he will be OK for tomorrow.

This would be a good game for Ayton to coming back and take lots of shots.

Good luck trying to get a guy to sit when he's on track for a 50burger in a game where were making a massive comeback from 24 down against the best team in the west. Grand scheme, maybe it doesn't really matter but this is far from a meaningless game.
