What is your Phoenix Suns New Years resolution?

Post#1 » by SunsRback4Good » Sun Jan 1, 2023 12:49 am

My New years resolution for the Suns is to get everyone healthy ASAP and cause havoc in the playoffs. Also, get Crowder off of this f—- team he doesn’t bleed purple and orange. The end/

The obvious one to get everybody healthy and (TAKES A DEEP BREATHE) hope D.A plays like a dominant big man.

Fire Jones, hire Presti, trade DA for SGA.

If only. SGA is probably one of the most untradeable guys..definitely would take more than Siakam. I imagine OKC isn't planning on replacing Chet Holmgren yet either. They are probably higher on him than Ayton and also have a chance at Victor.

New gm and direction come the off-season. I don't see how this season is salvageable

Get rid of the near max guy who play like a two way contract dude.

Getting rid of Paul  would be a step in the right direction as he's only prolonging the inevitable transition we must go through to enter our new era and reclaim more competitive dominance again. But it does However unfortunately seem highly unlikely that Jones himself would entertain such a notion. Even with the knowledge that it would return us a very solid premium asset package. 8-)

Yeah, hopefully Paul gets up to his normal self. Not sure if we can get rid of him but hopefully he just continues to get back to his older self.

I was just responding with light sarcasm as he was obviously referring to Ayton, but I deflected the comment to Paul as out of the two, clearly Paul's declining impact correlates more to a two way player at times than Ayton's struggles. Plus for the record, I think that Paul definitely will be gone next season by the deadline if not this offseason.

Not for the Suns, but for me personally, I guess.

I want to make some real career moves, maybe go back to school. Continue to get better at my Japanese language studies too. Also get back to where I was athletically a year or two ago before I got injured.

Happy New Year all.

I'm also trying to learn Japanese. Are you taking a proper course or just on your own?

Hell yeah!

Right now I'm learning on my own. I did two semesters in college a decade ago, but picked it up on and off a few years ago, and last year got more serious with it. I'm probably about N2ish level or intermediate/advanced so I'm not an expert but if you have any questions I can try to answer them as best as I can. Learning about how to study a language has been really big for my progress.

My Suns New Years resolution is to be able to purchase a Phoenix Suns Scoot Henderson jersey by opening day of the new season.

Will Scoot be a Sun next season or do you want to purchase his jersey regardless because you have an unusual obsession with him? ;)

I want him to be.

It's mostly just that we need a PG and he's a better recent prospect since anyone except maybe Ja. Plus, being a short guy he's got a perfect teacher in 6'1 Chris Paul.

I understand it's a long shot but we are pretty terrible without Booker and I'm not 100% sure we're anything other than 1st round fodder even with Booker.

I just fear the Blazers/Lillard situation where they're never contenders and never rebuilding so they basically do **** all and waste their stars prime.

That's why a quick tank might not be the worst idea. We save both cp3 and Booker unnecessary mileage. Chris especially needs that. Also, we sit CamJo and let him recover.

Come back next season with all 3 healthy and a hopeful top 5 pick

I don't think SGA would fit with Booker or for that matter Suns. One of the biggest ballhogs in the league. Dude doesn't pass the ball.
