Nice game thread...sometimes when I think about making them I look for throwback stuff...logos, teams, players. i probably have that card somewhere. I did have a Christie Brinkley poster too, but not that one.

Is Ayton back? He is always father to his son Jokic.

Would you trade Ayton for Jokic straight up? :)

I like more postseason type of players. Jokic can do what he want in regular season. I dont care. Like past eurocup showed he meltdown when true games start. Ayton already made statement last year 64-18. Its now time to turn that 2021 mode back. Without Saric injury in the Finals we already a champion. If his last game lights up form is a real thing and consistent play continue then nobody can stop us this season.

LOL. Can’t be real. Jokic’s worst day is still better than Ayton’s best day. Ayton’s got a lot of work to do to be mentioned in the same breath as Jokic or Embiid.

There is no many 22 years old centers who carry his team to the Finals. Has to be something special. JJ noticed that and DA is here now a long time. I care trophys, not stats.

Shamet out again. Might go on a little winning streak if he keeps missing games.

Last night's result was a surprise. I don't expect lightning to strike twice.

Unless… Denver starts getting hit with injuries left and right. I’m talking about Murray gone in the 1st, Porter & KCP bump knees in the 2nd, Jokic bumps knees in the 3rd and Gordon accidentally bumps knees with Brown in the 4th. Anything is possible in a 48 minute basketball game.

That and also Washington JR is also out with an injury so we probably go with D.Lee as point which isn't something he is particularly good at doing since his natural position is PG.

I anticipate 25 turnovers in this game by Denver employing a full court press.

DA was really good in that playoff run and arguably the most consistent player through that run but to say he carried his team to the Finals is a stretch.

I expect Suns to play with aggressiveness and consistency same way they did against the grizzlies and Warriors. We seems to show up to play tougher opponents no wonder we lost over cupcake teams like Wizards, Heat, Knicks, Raptors it’s cause we don’t respect them so we don’t show up for them. I would not be surprised if we steamroll a healthy nuggets team. We don’t need Ayton to stop Jokic as Biyombo, Landale and Saric our three headed monster will contain him. I’m not worried about Murray he’s a hit or miss player after his injuries. As for Gordon with no Shamet in sight who will he dunk on? Pretty sure nobody is scared of AAron Gordon. KCP scares me a big cause he’s a champion already has more rings than anyone on our team combined. I feel like Washington can get 40 points tonight just got to keep on shooting and shooting and the points will come.
