I have a dream, that the Phoenix Suns will become fully healthy in a month and finish 5th out West and dominate the playoffs to win our first NBA title. I HAVE A DREAM!

Filthy dunk. Not many can get up like that and throw it down with one hand. I believe Ja is Michael Jordan’s son.

More great draft luck. 2nd worst record that year, very good chance at Ja, or Zion...drop all the way to 6th, then end up with Saric and Cam. Yeah, it was a nice move considering, but imagine Ja on this team if we just stay in 2nd (unless Jones would have felt he was "too raw").

Nah. Of course there's a ton of hype about it, but it wasn't great. Watch it again: Smith was coming down from his jump while Morant was still moving up and toward the basket. Smith also wasn't directly in his path and was moving past the basket and not toward Morant.
It was nice and all, but it wasn't even remotely well defended. Smith pretty much quit on the play, too.

Ja needs to cut back on some of these dunks if he cares about his knees.
Great dunk but 2 points is 2 points and if he wants to avoid becoming like D.Rose he should put less wear and tear on his body.

Yeah! But the league needed us to fall and the Flakers to rise from 11th to 4th with (only 2% odds of getting the top pick and 9% odds of getting a top 4 pick) to the pick so that they could trade it to the Pels as a salary ballast/ sweetener to their trade package for Anthony Davis.

Things went just about as well as they could have for the Lakers and their Anthony Davis dreams in Chicago on Monday. Not only can they add a top-five pick to their trade package for Davis. Landing the No. 4 pick also gave the Lakers a much-needed salary ballast in a potential Davis trade. If timed properly, Los Angeles can use the roughly $7.1 million the fourth overall selection will earn during the 2019-20 season in a salary-matching trade package for Davis. This would theoretically allow the Lakers to keep one of Lonzo Ball or Brandon Ingram, or both Josh Hart and Kyle Kuzma.
The league also obviously gifted the Pels Zion as a reward for giving up their franchise player to the league's iconic cash cow dynasty trophy franchise. But in this specific SCHEME, a few teams of course had to fall back to balance out the illusion of chance outcomes. It's honestly not all that dissimilar from Vegas and how they utilize a very clever system that promotes the illusion of luck and chance factoring into outcomes that are really controlled by the house or league in this instance ( lottery).
So my point is that whilst that truly sucked, The suns being the 5th largest market ( and growing) AND being in the process of the NBA's 2nd largest sales acquisition amount (equaling league profits), IF we were to make it into the top 8-12 range, With Paul's decline, It's very likely the league would help facilitate a miraculous jump into the top 4 of the lottery in similar fashion to the Flakers amazing 2019 jump into the top 4 to help promote the sale and keep us competitive and viable for new ownership and TV ratings too!
After all! It's still a business in the end.
