If Rockets win, they are winner of the B bracket since they beat Pelicans head-to-head. Pelicans lose to Suns because of point differential. B bracket is settled in regards to Suns meaning nobody in B can knock Suns out of wildcard. We are waiting for results C bracket play. That requires a miracle by the Wolves to knock out the Suns.

I guess they prefer the tourney spread out for longer period of time. It starts Nov 3rd and finishes with a championship game on Dec 9th. I heard on the radio that games are meaningless to many fans up until Christmas where games start being more important. That’s why the league initially decided for a month long tourney to keep people engaged and entertained.

Yeah possibly, I mean play-in was not too popular at first as many questioned it, but look how much people enjoy it now.
