Damn do the Suns only play the Lakers and Clippers for the first month of the season or something?

Yup, close out October by playing the Lakers and Clippers in LA on Thursday. Three game home stretch against Blazers, Sixers, Heat, then head to Dallas against the Mavs on the 8th of November. Kings at home on the 10th, followed by a four-game road swing against Jazz, Kings, Thunder, and Wolves. This might be a bit brutal, but the Suns play the Wolves in Minny on the 17th, and then fly to Phoenix and play the Magic on the 18th. Not a fun back-to-back IMO. The Jazz/Kings games are also back-to-back games. So, I fully expect at least two more DNP's from Beal during this stretch. If the Suns can finish that road-swing 3-1, that would be pretty nice and give us a good idea of what the team will look like come playoff time.

I love watching free throws
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Bring Beal off the bench even if he’s 100%.

Honestly the key of the game tonight. We can be -5 in free throws. We might even be okay at -10. But we can’t go -22 from the line like the first matchup.

That and we can’t let those bums get hot from 3. Lakers shot 52% from deep in the first game. Ridiculous.

I saw a YouTube vid breaking down how the Lakers are a ridiculous +1200 from the FT line over the last 3 seasons. The next closest team, can't remember who it was, but they were something like +460.The Lakers nearly triple that. They've also been called for the least amount of fouls. They just play great, solid defense.

We need to get this one to prove that the last game between these two was nothing more than a fluke. I expect James and Davis to put in hard work so as to avoid a loss. We need EVERYONE to show up and be aggressive.

Nurk still chucking. Why is Bud giving him a green light? All these early whistles aren't helping us tonight nor is the spotty defense.

We move slower than WNBA teams and can't catch the ball

It’s totally fine no need to panic. We normally start out slow, but kick it into another gear wearing teams down by the 4th Q.

Starting Beal was so stupid. This team continues making mistakes that even fans are able to point out and see so clearly.

Starting Beal will continue to be the wrong decision, but there's no way they have a guy earning $50M coming off the bench.

This isn't a team. This is a collection of individuals focused on isolation and not doing anything with it. We're going to keep getting outworked and out hustled by teams who want it more, and the Lakers always seem to find a way to ground us into the court. Yeah, it's early in the game and season, but when is it ever going to change?

Not a strong start.
When asked how Fascism starts, Bertrand Russell once said:
"First, they fascinate the fools. Then, they muzzle the intelligent."
