The quest for double digit wins continues.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

If Book has a game like he did against the Wolves, we'll have a good chance. If not, it'll play out similar to the Thunder loss. Like OKC, Orlando is one of the best defensive teams in the league, ranking 2nd in DRTG. They are also #1 in the league in limiting 3PA which is one of our strengths. They'll throw KCP and Suggs at Book and if Book can't get it going, it's going to be a long and ugly night on offense.

The good thing is that without Paolo, Orlando have been pretty poor offensively so we should be able to outscore them, if their offense doesn't shut down our offense completely

Magic betting favorites though their record in last 10 without Banchero is so so - 5/5. The players need to show the same determination as in MIN game and get a win at home.

Actually the Magic are 5-4 without Banchero winning their last 5 games. They can still win games without their star player, meanwhile the Suns can’t. Thats why the Magic are a serious contender while Suns aren’t.

They've had a pretty soft schedule after losing 5 straight. The combined record of the teams during their 5 win run is 19-45. And they still have Franz and Suggs as 2 of their 3 best players available. We're 1-4 in our last 5 games but only Jazz has been a easy team. The rest are playoff calibre teams or elite contenders like OKC and we've been competitive in all but 2 games with only our 2nd best player available. During these last 5 games, the combined record of those teams were 38-31, brought down by Jazz's 3-10 record but if they had even just been a .500 team, that would be something like 41-28.

Orlando are beating teams they should be beating so all credit to them but you can't really compare records without taking into account opponent strength....

Put a great defensive team on Booker and he can’t even score 20. God I wish we traded him when we had the chance.

One thing for sure is that you guys don't hesitate to turn on Booker when things aren't going well

Superstars use to taking over games. Like Iverson without help.

Cannot make a shot. Would try Bol Bol again or Ty Ty. Or maybe D Lee. Need to hit some 3s with this large a margin

Late to the party but looks like more of the same as of late. What a damned shame. By the time these injuries are over, were bound to be well out of the hunt.

Mikal's driving threat is gone, so that also affects Booker's game a lot. And Ayton is not making good screens.

Results speak for themselves. This will be 5th game this season where Booker has not scored at least 20 points. Quit making excuses for him he ain’t that special. KD is the heart and soul of this team.

Booker makes a tough 3 then proceeds to foul a three point shooter shortly after misses a dunk. Thats your max contract player. Another game another under 20 point game for Mr MVP Booker.

Return to Phoenix Suns
